Modi, TRAI and Companies screwing Indian internet users

When did I say don't hold MMS responsible? By not enforcing what he knew to be right he did not fulfill his duty. But then don't imagine that the BJP is any different is the point. During 2014 elections at least one claim was that no less than 10,000 lorries a day are talking ore out of Bellary. These too are scams of epic proportions like 2G and coalgate. No effort has been made to stop it. And if you think the TRAI 'paper' had passed out with no reference to the PMO then you're being naïve.

I was really happy BJP got defeated in Karnataka, and there was a thread on it, and some BJP supporters did consider me as a congressi walla for telling me like that.

And now I don think Congress have done anything reg that Bellary scam as of yet[/QUOTE]

You think they have the GUTS? Even investigating it gets you KILLED. Reddy's run it with an iron hand. Everyone from DM to SI is hand in glove. You need to pay 50 lakhs just to become an SI there. No- congress isn't going to do anything about it. They're focusing on Bangalore infra and other areas for consolidating their power. They won't touch it. But they can't milk it either- this is clearly Yeddy/ Reddy territory.

I'm not interested in educating you. Won't bother to go back to Page 2. If it was something intelligent I would have remembered it. And yeah, there is a Scandal video out there. There is at least one IAS officer rotting in jail for that.

You are not qualified enough to educate me.
There was no bombastic Modi scandal (sex you said) video before the election as Congress master-stroke.
And you are still avoiding the topic.

The whole thread is based on a stupid baseless propaganda article, what else to expect from you!

We pay 225 for the internet charges, mobile tower infrastructure, rental, spectrum in it. Whom does the Whatsapp pay for using the network providers? For 225 in 3g one does not need to make a single call from the network operator.

Its time Apps started paying money or the Network providers start violating net neutrality for their profitability.

By that logic handset manufactures, telecom equipment manufacturers, power plants and power distribution companies, all should charge Whatsapp and facebook! And you can extend the logic to crazy levels. Telecom companies are getting paid for the data per unit basis just like the electricity, how we use the data is none of their business. There is no protection for an obsolete technology other than improvising and adapting to the new reality.

Btw, the article is talking about charging YOU extra over and above your internet charges, not whatsapp or facebook! It's a different matter that it won't happen.

I'm not inetersted in what Backward, Naïve people think.

That is not the best way to respond, considering you are native to this land as well.

it was supposed to ne "Naïve' I think it corrected it wrong.

Ha ha very funny and droll. You are the son of the soil and anyone that questions modi is 'non native', congrats!

and this is related to Net Neutrality how? Do you even know what you are talking about anymore?

It is to show that TRAI has always put the customers' interest first. I didn't expect you to be so intelligently bankrupt to not understand this simple thing.

Didn't see this tag.

Yup, I got a mail from Airtel trying to clear air on the Airtel Zero initiative. I know something about how such letters are drafted at a corporate level, so had some good laughs reading it.

Anyway, net neutrality is something worth preserving even though I perfectly understand the view of the internet companies wishing to monetize their infrastructure in better ways.
