I agree, Pakistan should continue to remain vigilant because given the war mongering hysteria that was generated in India, the fact that Modi backed down so meekly, with elections coming up, is extremely surprising.

He either thinks he has the Indian media so deep in his pocket that they’ll twist and distort the narrative to suit him regardless, or this is an attempt to look like he gave peace a chance while plotting something else.

We should not boil up stories, new conspiracy theories. We want India to open a new chapter with us, and if they, and us, give ourselves a chance to open a new chapter, then it requires us to throw down the past enmity into the bin, and look from a new angle. Remain vigilant, but lets not shun away the call for peace with doubting statements, that doesn't benefit our call to open a new chapter, like Imran Khan had said.
