Can anybody suggest any good mobile internet package in Pakistan. I always need internet on my mobile due to nature of my work so please suggest any package/network with good internet speed and more bandwitch (megabytes) in mind

Thanks

.
I guess all Pakistani mobile operator offer mobile data in 2G so that will not be much faster and will depend on connection strength at place of your residence

Zong is good in term of bandwidth

Monthly Rs. 200 Unlimited *(2gb fair usage policy)

Zong Truly Unlimited Prepaid Rs. 999 Unlimited
Zong Truly Unlimited Postpaid Rs. 400 Unlimited

.
I would recommend Ufone over zong, because ZONG has a serious connectivity issue in some parts of Pakistan. Also on Ufone you can have Prepaid Mobile Internet Unlimited Vol Cap: 6 GB Rs. 500 Inclusive of Tax 30 Days

* don't get postpaid as it has a very low fair usage cap, prepaid is the way to go.

Pakistan does not have a 3g network atm, but it is set for roll out in 2013 with the contract awarded to Mobilink. Although with that said, the Wimax network makes up for not having 3g atm.

Thats Airtel! The pack is 2G,but in a Nokia Phone,Go to>Settings>Networks>UMTS and voila! You get 3G! Works for me!

That's fine, I'm also using the same kind of settings in my Xperia by setting networks in GSM/WCDM mode. It will show HSDPA symbol instead of Edge once connected,
but one will not get the real speed of a 3G network

It shows that 3G network is available but you need to have 3G activated to get the access. Be warned its very expensive.
