The previous experiences are really bad. The judiciary, bar and media are seriously compromised in Pakistan and serve the highest bidders.

A 3 line whip does not mean you cannot vote according to your conscience. You can and they do OFTEN.

Your party however will act against an MP that defies a 3 line whip. He can be reprimanded or suspended from the party and can even be expelled from the party but he would continue to remain an MP and be able to vote as his conscience desires.

The number of MP's defying a 3 line whip are plentiful

In July 2012, 91 Conservative MPs voted against David Cameron who was the PM defying the 3 line whip

In 2018 Eight MP's voted against their own Government and defied a 3 line whip

Examples of MP voting against their OWN party in vote of confidence are also there for you to google so you can learn about the Parliamentary system and the Queen to whom YOU HAVE PLEDGED UNDYING LOYALTY if you are naturalized.

Its better that this issue is decided once and for all. Horse trading should not be done. If these MNAs resign their seats will be vacant and Govt will lose its majority. Either you can have an unadulterated version of representative democracy or you can have stable governments, it's hard to have both.
It's a correct observation by the courts. Anti-defection laws are promulgated mainly to preserve stability of governments and insulate them from defections.
The MNAs can resign, it will lower the number of votes required for a no-confidence vote to succeed.

How this is Pakistan, and what we have is politicians who are utterly corrupt to the core and a system unable to control these people's corruption nor able to exit them from the system

So you will have a politician that is like a prostitute basically offering their service to the highest bidder, parties and groups will then offer money or offers to gain their support

As long as the politician see's benefit he will tow the line, as soon as he gets a better offer he will back stab the party in a heart beat
