MNA's individual vote in no-trust proceeding has no status: Justice Munib

What if the PTI Party MNA's abstain from casting a vote?

.
The MNA has the right to vote for no confidence motion. Its the same MNAs who voted IK to be the PM. If for some reason the PM is not doing well and will not resign then his own party members can vote against him and then select a new PM. Not sure if they are allowed to vote for PMLN member to become PM or not. That would be treacherous.

Amazing law and unique to Pakistan only.
Every democracy is based on the basis that the member is elected by the constituency to serve its constituents and would vote according to his conscience and what is in the best interests of his/her constituency and the country.

If a political party overrides this basic and fundamental right then he/she is just a puppet of the party leader.

Such a law is patently undemocratic and any country that applies such a law is not a democracy.

Clearly you don't understand parliamentary democracy.

It's the equivalent of a 3 line whip in Westminster.

Absolutely not… if their conscious doesn’t allow to agree with the government policies they should
Resign. They have no right to vote against the party lines. It’s called parliamentary democracy.

would vote according to his conscience
And if they are really weighed by their conscience and not dazzled by $$$$ they can express their feeling in a very honourable way.

By fcukin giving up their seats and going back to their constituents to get their fresh mandate at the voting booths. As independents or a ticket from Mr 10% or Mr Avenfield.

That is what the whole PTI will do.
But if opposition member is absent , than there will be a big loss to them.
Opposition has to get 172......

If PTI member abstains from voting, then he can loose his seat. He will have to get a fresh Ticket or Cash from the opposition.

Sipahi or Chor saath kaisey chal saktey haeen.

No trust motion can't be trusted by anyone in Pakistan except for corrupts and crooked.

Bhai I will appreciate if you either type something that makes sense or just ignore my posts … will appreciate .

How can you "mortgage" the right of legislature's right of vote to a single person, no matter if he's elected ? Does that make any sense ?

In the UK many Conservative party members speak against the government policies and at times the policy is not passed because their own members will not vote for it. At times they even vote to remove the PM and then select a new one, even when the government wants to declare war on other countries, at times their own MPs won't vote for it. They represent the party line but also their local constituencies. The party, PM needs to make sure all members are on board.

If they vote to make the opposition parties member as an PM, now that would be a different scenario. Pakistan situation is regarding IK as being PM. If his party members believe he is not doing his job and want to remove him then they can do so but then select another PM from their own party.
