Mission of Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman Self Reliance and indigenization of Pakistan Air force

.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Sohail Aman's full interview about jf-17/block III and 5th generation fighter :pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

. . .
A step in the right direction. This ACM is a blessing.

Pakistan should have its own defense industry.

. . . .
Air Chief Marshal Sir Sohail Aman is a visionary person. He should not be wasted after retirement should be taken as Head of Kamra Aviation City till the completion of his vision of 5th gen fighter and AESA radar.

. . .
"Your dreams need to be large and worthy enough to spend a life achieving them" - PAF is dreaming those drams now.

I wish them best of luck and may you keep shining - always.

.
That interview was music to the ears. May Allah give PAF more leaders like him with the capability to keep it on the right track. He was right in saying the what he is talking about are all long term plans and consistency is the key to realize those plans.

.
What is notable is that he is saying that Pakistan is at advanced stages of negotiation with three countries for a fifth generation jet.One could guess first being China and second being Turkey,to participate in their TFX program. It leaves only Russia and USA who have a fifth gen program(Don't even mention Japan).
Russia and USA !!!!!????

.
A step in the right direction but bit late Pakistan should have started this with mirage
But still better

1 point
More F16s are coming some new and some used ,
2 china , turkey seem to be main countries with enough knowledge and capabilities
3 Aero city Pakistan needs to revive its private sector more now its just for the betterment of curre t systems but will help in future and it will take load off from Armed forces as when these company develop they will develop and invest on there own Pakistan armed forces will get hi end systems at much cheaper rate and
