The only difference is Dogs might have killed the owner and then eaten him, cat might have eaten the woman because she died and cats were hungry because no one fed them. It is a difference between a guy who dig graves to eat dead bodies and those who ate their dead friends after air plane crash.

Yeah, the cat is too small to actually kill a man and usually hunts alone, almost similar to a Tiger. Also, the guy probably didn't feed his dogs either. When hunger takes over, their natural instinct, irrespective of it's a cat or dog is to eat anything that is nutritious including us.

8 nights ago she went out and has not come back and I an so heart broken.

Usually cats return to their human companions however far the cat has travelled. Sorry to say but she might have been killed by dogs or by vehicle traffic.

This is a women who used to have so many cats but pretty sure not wanted to be eaten by them.

That case also said that there were dogs in that woman's house.

Cats are vicious creatures than dogs, they kill for fun

Cats are gentle creatures. Once upon a time I had seven cats - four babies, a female adult and two male adult. They didn't kill for fun. They had different kinds of food - chicken and mutton offal, milk-rotis, fish offal.

haha yeah, it's usually implemented in housing colonies. If you kill a dog and any "animal" lover reports it, you are in trouble even in Kerala.

I didn't know that.

There are stray animals on street because a lot of waste is thrown in the open by us. Proper waste management will automatically reduce the population of stray domestic animals.

I don't disagree that waste mismanagement has increased stray dogs but there is also the problem created by dog lovers who feed stray dogs. I have had to fight with such people.

Some years ago for two or three months I used to shoot at stray dogs in my area with an air rifle. I had managed to put some fear into these dogs.

I stopped.

And then two dog loving families began feeding these dogs and they undid what I had achieved so painstakingly.

I am not here for that cat vs dog stuff. I don't have any domestic animal in my house.

We have fish in our home.. and my partner wants a cat.. to which I have said no so far.

In Pakistan, our home is kind of a zoo with many birds from peacocks, cockatoo...while dogs & cattle are kept on the farm.

In a serious note Allah SWT mention in Quran about Ashab e Kahf and their dog, and these people considered pious.

You can have dog but as a guardian dog not the one who sleeps with you.

LOL! Gentle, that's something they are not. Cat is just like any predator, with an added touch that they kill anything that's weaker, just for fun. You have seen cats playing with mouse, rather it's killing it inch by inch. They do that to almost everything. You feed them well, and maybe you don't keep them outside your house. I understand your love for cats, and I like them too, they are adorable. But I'm not gonna pretend that they aren't a predator.

I'm not saying every Keralite is an animal lover. Yeah, you can kill stray dogs. Nobody really likes them, but you kill and boast it in Social Media (which happened) you'll be in trouble. Kerala strictly enforce it's laws, so even if the Police are okay with what you do, they'll charge you if there is a complaint.

I don't think there are too many people who feed stray dogs. The major issue is not people feeding stray dogs, the issue is poor waste management. You clean the city, and dispose the waste off and there is no bio wastes left anywhere in the city, then guarantee the dogs will just die out or stop breeding.

yes we know that but we are talking about another of God's creation which is created specifically for human protection. I am a cat person and very recently lost my Cat which was like my 2nd daughter, 8 nights ago she went out and has not come back and I an so heart broken.

Folks Cats are from feline family which includes Tigers , Lions while Dogs are from canis family which includes wolves , so u decide who is more dangerous.
Cats are shrewd but Dogs are loyal
