And among others from among them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

That one line can mean SOOOOO many things taken out of context.

Upon examination of the Quran, this is the 3rd ayat of Surah Jumah not the fourth and in the second Ayat The Quran is talking about MAKKAH, not persia! There is no connection!

And on top of that, The Quran is pointing out that there are others still who have still not joined Prophet Mohammad and are in error! Read these lines:

SHAKIR: Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah, the King, the Holy, the Mighty, the Wise.

SHAKIR: He it is Who raised among the inhabitants of Mecca an Messenger from among themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly in clear error,

SHAKIR: And others from among them who have not yet joined them; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

An Answer to the Kafir Qadiani Cult.

Written in response to Qadiani propaganda on the newsgroup soc.religion.islam

Dear brothers and sisters know that it is incumbent upon Muslims to believe that Prophethood has ended with the advent of Sayyidna Muhammad al-Mustafa Habib Allah (may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him). This belief in the finality of Prophethood has been an established belief of the Muslims since the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). Every time a false prophet has arisen, the Muslims knew he was false because belief in the finality of Prophethood has been established as part of the Muslim's aqidah (tenets of faith).

A fitna in India arose in the latter part of the 19th Century in the guise of the Qadiani heretical cult who claimed prophethood for their leader Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadian (lanat Allah alay) despite all the evidence against such a claim. What I would like to present are some clear proofs from the ulama of the past, ulama that predate the Qadiani fitna so no one can accuse them of being biased. What you will see is that it is quite clear, without a shadow of a doubt that finality of Prophethood is something that is necessarily known as being part of the religion of Islam. Hence the rejection of this belief is Kufr and quite rightly the Qadianis have been declared as kafir by the leading ulama of this ummah then and now.

Imam al-Tahawi (d. 321 AH) in al-Aqidah al-Tahawiyya states

"Every claim to prophethood after him is falsehood and deceit."

Ibn Kathir (d. 774 AH) in Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Azim states

""Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but the Messenger of Allah and the Last of Prophets. And Allah has knowledge of everything"
[Qur'an 33:40]"

This Qur'anic verse is an unequivocally decisive primary text [nass] that there will be no prophet after him. And since there will be no prophet (nabi), it follows a fortiori that there will be no prophetic messenger (rasul). The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

(1) "Messengerhood and prophethood have ceased. There will be no messenger or prophet after me." [related by Ahmad]

(2) "My likeness among the prophets is as a man who, having built a house put the finishing touches on it and made it seemly, yet left one place without a brick. When anyone entered it and saw this, he would exclaim, 'How excellent it is, but for the place of this brick.'[1] Now, I am the place of the brick: through me the line of prophets (Allah bless him and give him peace) has been brought to completion." [Related by al-Bukhari]

(3) "I have been favoured above the prophets in six things: I have been endowed with consummate succinctness of speech, made triumphant through dread, war booty has been made lawful for me, the whole earth has been made a purified place of worship for me, I have been sent to all created beings, and the succession of prophets has been completed in me." [related by Tirmidhi and ibn Majah]

Allah Most Blessed and Exalted has stated in His book, as has His Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) in hadiths of numerous channels of transmission (mutawatir[2]) that there will be no prophet after him, so that whoever claims this rank thereafter is a lying [kadhab] pretender [dajjal], misled and misleading, even if he should stage miracles and exhibit all kinds of magic, talismans and spells."

Here ends the quotation from Ibn Kathir's Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Azim 3.493-494 (cf. Reliance of the Traveller W4.2).

Here are some ahadith from Sahih al-Bukhari:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The Children of Israel used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me, but there will be Caliphs who will increase in number." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What do you order us (to do)?" He said, "Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfil their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship." [al-Bukhari 4.661]

Narrated Sa'ad: Allah's Apostle set out for Tabuk. appointing 'Ali as his deputy (in Medina). 'Ali said, "Do you want to leave me with the children and women?" The Prophet said, "Will you not be pleased that you will be to me like Aaron to Moses? But there will be no prophet after me." [al-Bukhari 5.700]

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established (1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, (2) till about thirty dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle, (3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars) (4) earthquakes will increase in number (5) time will pass quickly, (6) afflictions will appear, (7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase, (8) till wealth will be in abundance . . ." [al-Bukhari 9.237]

Narrated Isma'il: I asked Abi Aufa, "Did you see Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet?" He said, "Yes, but he died in his early childhood. Had there been a Prophet after Muhammad then his son would have lived, but there is no Prophet after him." [3] [al-Bukhari 8.214]

Narrated Ayesha (RA): "Prophethood will NOT continue after me, except the harbingers of good news". They asked "What are the harbingers of good news, O Apostle of Allah?." He replied: "Virtuous and pious dreams a Muslim sees or are shown to him". [4] Musnad of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal

Now, the above is just a small portion of the vast amount of mutawatir evidence that proves conclusively that there are no prophets after the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), if you believe that there is a prophet after him then you are a kafir, period. There is absolutely and utterly no room for any doubt in this matter. In the face of such overwhelming evidence then why is it that the Qadianis persist in their misguided and misguiding belief?

Notes

[1] I have seen Qadianis quote this hadith but only up to this point! Witness their truncation of authentic narrations!

[2] mutawatir def: related by whole groups of individuals from whole groups, in multiple contiguous channels of transmission leading back to the Prophet himself, such that the sheer number of separate channels at each stage of transmission is too many for it to be possible for all to have conspired to fabricate the hadith (which makes it obligatory to believe in and denial of which is kufr). [cf. Reliance of the Traveller o22.1(dII)]

[3] I have seen Qadianis quote a hadith which states "Had the son of the Prophet lived he would have been a true prophet" Witness this manipulation of the authentic hadith!

[4] I have seen a hadith quoted by the Qadianis in which Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha is reported to have said "O ye Muslims ! Do proclaim that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him, was the Khataman Nabiyeen, but never say that there shall be no prophet after him" [Takmilah Majma ul Bihar & Durr i Manthur], this hadith is a fabrication and is rejected. Witness the lies they invent and attribute to Umm al-Mu'mineen!

Salaam!

Mirza Gulam Ahmed.....was nothing more than one of the 'thirty Liars' foretold by the Prophet Muhammed (saw). He was a fake and one that tried to cause division and misunderstanding of Islam. He was encouraged by the British to cause dissension amongst the muslims. Unfortunately alot of people were misguided by him. As something to mention.....Mirza had died of chronic diarrheoa related illness....no real Prophet previously had left this world in this manner....just shows you what he was!!!

please note: As long as muslims follow the Quran and Sunnah...they will be guided right.....remember the prophets generation were the 'best of the best'...the cream of civilization.....then there were pious people after and so until the pious became increasingly estranged with earlier generations.

We should never belittle the Sunnah....even if it is beyond our reasoning or comprehension. the Quran and Sunna go hand in hand.

as for the hadith relating to Thirty Liars:

There have been many liars and false prophets, from Musaylima the Liar (in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (saw)) up to the present day.

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (saw) said:

The Hour will not come until thirty liars (Dajjals) emerge each of them claiming to be messenger of Allah. And (the Hour will not come) until there will be a great increase in money, and tribulations will appear, and there will be much harj.

The Prophet (saw) was asked, "what is harj?" He said, "killing, Killing," three times.
(ref: Sahih Muslim (4:2240) Kitab aL-fitan)

Among the signs of the Last Days mentioned in this hadith is that there would be liars claiming to be messengers from Allah (swt) after Prophet Muhammed (saw). Another sign of the Last Days that this hadith speaks of is the corrupt leadership of our time awash in 'dirty money', causing dissension, and taking their communities and nations down the road to bloodshed, violence, and wars, not leaving a single home without fear.

The Prophet (saw) then mentioned that harj would occur, which is widespread, indiscriminate killing. This is happening so much that it is not even unusual anymore, and today there is not a single country which is safe from the killing of innocent people.

This sign of the Last Days was mentioned by the Prophet Muhammed (saw) in another hadith,

"there will be much slaughter and killing" (ref:Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

People are being killed everywhere in wars, and even in countries without war people are killing each other in robberies, petty squabbles, and oftentimes senselessly. Many people involved in blood fueds have long forgotten why they began fighting in the first place. Gangs, organised to commit violence against one another, are a manifestation of this widespread killing. There are countless innocent bystanders who are killed in this plague of violence.

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (saw) said:

"By Him in Whose is my life, the world will not perish until a time will come when the murderer would not know why he has committed the murder, and the victim would not know why he has been killed" (ref: Sahih Muslim)

This chaotic violence and carnage will make people long for their deaths.

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet said:

By Him, in Whose hand is my life, the world will not persh until a man passes by someone's grave, would roll over it and say, "Would that I were in his place!" He does not say this for the sake of his religion, but because of the calamities around him. (ref: Sahih Muslim)

These tribulations will destroy people both physically and spiritually. They will be so severe that they can change someone from belief to unbelief in a single day or night.

Also note, the Mirza has alot of educated members....alot are serving senior officers within the Armed forces of Pakistan and are in senior posts within the civil servants and business...they also have a large following outside in the western world........hmmm...educated but BLIND to the Truth!.

I do agree that there is a lot of validity in the Hadith and can be used as a historical text, but like all historical text it should be open to scrutiny. It is not the word of God, it's the word of man.

Very true, only the Quran is free of changes and ommissions. Other wise any text can be misinterpreted by us humans whether it be th great Shaba-e-Ikram or others. Humans are bound to make errors!

Qadyani's

The second disbelieving sect is "Qadyani". The imposter Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyani, who arrogated himself to Prophethood, invented this misleading doctrine in India, and called the mobs there to believe in him. Mirza Qadyani gave a false legal opinion that the religious duty of fighting against enemies of Islam had been abrogated and called people to surrender and co-operate with the imperialist British authorities in India. By this method he gained the influential and financial support of the British authorities. Mirza Qadyani strived hard to falsify and destroy Islam. He printed his books "Tasdeeq Brahiyn Ahmediyah", "Triyak-ul-Quloob" etc. and succeeded in misleading many groups in India. He died in 1908 and his deputy Noor-ul-Deen Alhakeem succeeded him. Even at present his descendants claim themselves "Caliphs" of the founder of this sect.
