PA2/3 series has always been a little confusing for me. Technically only PA3 were Exocet capable, but we have pictures of PA2s also armed with them, like 79-437 and 79-440. Wonder if PAF at a later date added that capability in a few of those airframes as well (perhaps as attrition replacements), as both versions have the Agave radar.

A comprehensive book on the Mirage service in the PAF is definitely something to look forward to.

Circa 1980, Wing Commander Hasnat emerges out of his aircraft after ferrying first ever Mirage VPA2 to Pakistan. Three years later he was commanding 11 Squadron #Arrows when life of this aviator was cut short in a fatal F-6 crash during solo aerobatics display at Sargodha AFB.
