This thread will aim to function as a raw information feed about the activities carried out by the Japanese Self Defense Forces. Japan's role in the international security enrionment has been increasing so those activities will be posted here. That clear and narrow focus on just the activities would help provide clean understanding to the degree of JSDF activities and provide clean understanding of how those activities are being engaged with other nations in the region. Many of the military activities are in cooperation with many other nations, which brings an impact to the security situation for other countries in the region. Information about government policy and statements or development of new equipment.. bring a lot of debate and interpretation making and so would result in a loss of focus with from what's going on with actual JSDF activities, so those kinds of political posts are better to be included in a different thread.

I opened this thread while knowing about that thread.

I heard Japan forming naval force with India in the Indian ocean to block China's route? is it true?

Japan conducts training with India in the India Ocean once in a while. Those exercises will be added in the thread for clear observation as to degree of activity in the Indian Ocean over time.

but your Defence Minister Taro Kono telling different stories about this exercise and accused China of trying to change the status quo unilaterally in East and South China Seas as well as along its disputed boundary with India.Which means a clear threat to China.
have you seen the result of the threat , not sure how this fire caught in Naval Vessel?

Politics from all sides runs it rounds in all threads. Its not possible to hide the differences between Japan and China, nor will this thread try to do that.

I recall a P-3C having some engine trouble and making a stop in one of the ASEAN countries, Vietnam if I recall correctly. So it might be that one. Vietnam gave them permission which was while virus countermeasures had in coming flights not allowed.
