What's new

milk isnt what you think, modern dairy.

What about milk quality? I suppose water mixed in milk would be the lesser evil these days.
Here you get full skimmed, semi skimmed, blue top and full fat and then some gold top! but none of them seem to be good enough to culture your own yoghurt ; without any chemical/nutritional/ litmus test thats the one i normally use for standard. Its simple, if you don’t get curd then milk is tainted or ain’t milk. Maybe you can still get curd but then again it’s easy to know which yoghurt is natural.
I might be wrong since need is mother of invention and new methods of coming up with milk might already be in practice; especially with food regulations and authorities are next to useless in Pakistan.

thats why ppl keep buffalos becuase they know what they be drinking.

That's the point. Where are you going to find raw milk now? Unless you have a farm and your own cow.

I've had goat milk when I was a kid,I didn't like it. But that's goat milk.

Anyway,we do have whole wheat bread in Greece as well.

I've tried goat milk as well sheep, cow and buffalo milk as well. Sheep milk is the best by far. I've drank camel milk but don't remember the taste much.

I think pasteurisation is done because it reduces risks of some types of infections.

My friend all these things come when nation is educated. Our literacy rate is down the drain. In Japan, children are taught to clean up themselves, help with the school kitchen, chores etc.

Only education leads to sustainable growth. The people in power quarters don't want the nation educated, because educated people start asking questions about accountability . They don't want that.
More than education (and) enlightenment! US has all the refrigeration, food safety codes, healthy options etc still a large proportion eat non stop, gorge on beer and hot dogs or similar crap.. u tell them eat healthy and they ask before or after dinner.

Real milk is rare and I recall paying $6.50 for half gallon and that's before prices went up

If you boil it and there is no thick layer of cream on it. It isn’t milk.

I think that it is illegal to sell raw milk in the UK.

You can buy it in some organic shops, but it has to be marked ' Unfit for human consumption.'

Fresh Nili-Ravi buffalo milk is the best.

I have also tried fresh camel, sheep and cow milk at a farm in Saudi Arabia. Camel milk is surprisingly tasty and is supposed to be very healthy as well.

I prefer dairy products such as cheeses and yoghurt rather than milk. Milk is supposed to be fresh. Impossible to get fresh milk in the West unless you live on a farm.

Video doesn't talk about pasteurization and homogenization. See from 15:45. He claims milk is generally unhealthy after the weaning age of 2. Several comments are questioning the accuracy of the information.
