Lt. Gen Asim Bajwa is the chief of ISPR, not military chief of Pakistan.

In his briefing, he has nowhere said there were 'surgical strikes'. Yesterday, he confirmed there were cross-border attacks by IA in multiple sectors along the LoC which resulted in martyrdom of 2 soldiers and wounded 9 others.

There were Pakistani media reports that said 8 IA men were lying dead in one sector and 6 in the other. He just confirmed there were some Indian casualties in the firing which IA is not disclosing.

And regarding the soldier who was caught while attacking PA posts in Nakyal sector, GoI has confirmed that for you.
