NOWSHERA: Police and the Elite Force in a joint action arrested a known militant commander along with his two accomplices and seized a huge cache of weapons, including explosives and communication gadgets, during a raid on a house in Khander area in Nowshera Kalan on Wednesday, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, police and the Elite Force, led by District Police Officer Nisar Ahmed Tanoli and station house officer (SHO) Ajmeer Shah, raided the Bajauri House, which was being used by militants as a training compound and a hideout in Khander, a village located in the foothills of Nowshera Kalan.

During the raid, police arrested militant commander Ahmed Wali alias Sheikh Saadi, along with his two accomplices, and seized a large quantity of weapons and communication equipment.

Police claimed that on the disclosure of arrested commander they found four cells being used by militants for training the new recruits or torturing kidnapped persons. The police also recovered arms and ammunition, Army uniform and communication gadgets.

I am wondering how were they getting trained, how did they use weapons for training won't the surrounding areas hear weapons and explosives sounds being used.
