All the aerial searches till Saturday were on the flight path of the plane.
After that, Aerial searches started outside the flight path from Monday as no air searches in Sunday due to bad weather. (crash location was 20 km away from flight path).

Do you really think that during a search operation, the rescue aircraft or helicopter just fly up and down in a straight line and don't forget the much acclaimed P-8i was also involved in the operation.

On the initial few days searches were focused only the scores of mountain along 5-7 km of flight path.

On the initial few days searches were focused only the scores of mountain along 5-7 km of flight path.
