Nearly 11 months after release and Microsoft has decided Windows 11 is in a good enough state for everyone to install and use. That is, assuming your PC meets the requirements for running the OS.

As Neowin reports(Opens in a new window), the Windows Health Dashboard changed the status of Windows 11 this week to be "designated for broad deployment(Opens in a new window)." It basically means that Microsoft believes the operating system is now robust enough that all new PCs should be shipping with it, and anyone holding off upgrading from Windows 10 should pull the trigger.

Whether you PC is capable of running Windows 11 or not can be determined by using Microsoft's PC Health Check app(Opens in a new window). Some Microsoft employees can't even upgrade to Windows 11, so it's definitely worth checking before attempting the upgrade. If you can, there are some very good reasons to switch to Microsoft's latest OS as soon as possible.

Microsoft is very keen to get more people using Windows 11, especially when you consider it's currently less popular than Windows 7. Certain requirements, such as your PC needing TPM 2.0, mean in a lot of cases upgrading simply isn't possible. However, that's a good excuse to go out and treat yourself to a new desktop PC or laptop.

It's a good windows I feel better using 11. it eats less ram and uses less cpu.

Things I don't like about it :

It's search method.for both your files and windows apps.
I think some of app names are changed and there no do you mean older ones.
Login pin code for home users is mandatory.
When I use control panel I feel lost.control panel of win 7 was better.

Compared to win 7 and 10 it feels much better for a user like me.

Windows 10 and 11 are probably the ugliest Windows ever.

Why do they have to make everything look like an android program? What is this? If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Windows XP and even Vista, looked beautiful. Why can't they go on like this? What's this bullshit?

Yeah this Android LARP is cringe

I remember playing AOE on windows XP in my teenage tears. And of course those Limewire downloads were running 24/7 as it took ages to download music and movies:cheesy:. Yeah, and Chanpionship Manager too, italian teams were top notch back then, Vieri, whole Parma team stuffed with up and coming young players who went on to become legends: Nesta, Cannavaro, Diego Fuser, Crespo, Thuram, Buffon to name a few.

Changed to Mac during second year of University days and never really liked windows after that.

Windows 10 + taskbarx=windows 11. At office our patch manager automatically deployed windows 11,faced so many bugs that i upgraded it to windows 10.

Why do you hate it ?

What about drivers ?
Never had any issues with drivers - SP3 32Bit worked a charm. Now if you are a gamer or media user that is another matter. I use my desktop pc mainly for work - so for my needs it was and will remain perfect. I have been a windows user since Windows 3.1 and XP offered the best user experience by far.
