Also see the gap between street lights and concrete border. There is enough space left for water to fall on the road

I don't think it's Sharif brothers or any particular party at fault. It's the traffic sense of our South Asian people!

Desis can't drive for sh*t! I've lived in India for most of my life but when I go back nowadays, I'm literally scared for my life! No lane system, no indicating before turning, no give way! No one wants to wait for a second! And we're still late everywhere!

This is India's and World's most successful BRTS but you can see the driver literally have to horn like a million times before people would get out of his way?

As @cb4 it's the discipline of the people that makes difference.

Heard on local city news that a car got fined Rs 3000 for driving into BRT lane and many others are warned. Totally agree. People in our part of the world have no sense. Discipline definitely makes difference.

3000 is less, should be high enough that no one should dare to drive his car into BRT lane!!!

This is what happens when you dont "plan" your projects... now alteast 7 underpasses/flyover would be required to built before this traffic mess could be solved to some extend...

We need metro type buses in Rawalpindi. Roads are fine, so no problem, Just need good bus service here also. I am asking Lahoris to give some buses here,.. Be great heart and share some buses.
