except that the Chinese undervalued their currency to promote exports, dollar dar overvalues it. BIG difference. besides, what steps have showbaz and dar taken to improve exports? what steps did nawaz take to improve exports from 2013-18? or for import substitution, other than an import ban that everyone seems to bypass easily?

IK introduced EV policy (environment factor and reduced reliance on oil imports), mobile device policy (reduce reliance on imports), an ASIC design policy was under study and development, an electronics policy was under study and development, CETC had proposed to move its higher fab nodes to Pakistan (for the first time in our country's history), an import-refurbish-reexport policy was in the making. even a shipping policy, first time ever in pakistan's history, was presented to the cabinet. a boom in freelancing (caused by various initiatives by the president himself to train people in emerging technologies, and to allow freelancers to bring in 25k dollars) and startup culture. all sectors of economy were being worked upon, instead of just PSDPs for bridges and roads. PTI also introduced the performance agrrement system, that set KPIs and penalized ministers for not meeting targets, and awarded the ministries for achieving them, a step towards improving governance.

all of that f*d up by the military and their puppets. like I said, showbaaz has no idea how to earn money, he only knows how to waste it. and that too on roads and gutters. he has no idea about governance and public policy or strategic management.
