Meet the US's answer to China's 'carrier killer' missile

You can blow US any time.

You people have a serious reading comprehension problem.

Here the relevant sentence...

This is not about going AGAINST the DF-21D, but allowing the carrier to stay BEYOND the DF-21D's reach.

You guys just have the typical knee-jerk reaction to the title, but not bothered to read the article itself and try to understand what the writer tried to say.

I am saying DF26. Look who has serious reading comprehension problem

DF-26 range: 4000 KM, the stingray brings almost no advantage :coffee:

.
I think the U.S NAVY gonna install high power laser CIWS as A measurement to all missile threat, thats including DF26

To hit missile with speed of 30 mach?
The technology is still in distant future for the implementation. :)
Lol.....the U.S Military are About future.....their technology are 20 or 30 years ahead of their competitors

No real surprise people don't know what the f*ck they're talking about. Actual response methods are classified, but a system with a large kill-chain that needs to operate on a network that talks with a large number of supporting assets like OTH radars, satellites, command and control vehicles, launchers and supporting assets like surface, subsurface and airborne assets opens itself up to electronic attack to blind, degrade or destroy critical elements and render the overall kill-chain ineffective or compromised.

A number of upcoming and recent US Navy acquisitions support electronic attack.

Electronic attack is only one of a host of offensive and defensive options that can be utilized to neutralize hostile weapon systems.

If pressed into service, the MQ-25 Stingray is another tool, not an endgame for the USN.

Already aboard USS Ponce, a scaled up 150kw version is to be tested very soon.

Yes, so ahead that their HSV still lack behind China :enjoy:

How exactly do you know that??

I don't think you have TS/SCI clearance to know what is the current US HSV technology is, I don't even believe you have enough clearance to know your own Chinese System, how can you compare if you do not know both system?

Just because one of these article say so, then yes, US is lacking in HSV?? So, if I write an article and say Chinese HSV technology is worse than North Korea, then it must be true then...Since I wrote it.

You do know DF-26 is a IRBM, not ASBM, even with the same terminal guidance system, you are looking at longer range, which in turn it mean more error prone system.

To say DF-26 can threaten US Carrier group is exactly the same as saying DF-31 can launch a nuclear attack on Hawaii and Japan and wipe out the Carrier Group stationed there before they even know what hit them. Oh well, you can do that, but the US will launch their Minuteman, as you will never know if the DF-26 is nuclear capable missile. Using them will be the same as using any tactical nuke.

What makes you think that China doesn't have a host of options to neutralize the US threat? I'm sure China also has the latest option like the laser to kill satellite or incoming missile. China successfully tested her laser to fry a satellite a few months back.

Well we did fry a Japanese satellite using laser for trying to spy on us.

. .
I know, it will be great if details of that achievement is posted in this thread. I don't like the way the yanks are showing off their laser weapons.
That's the different between us and the US. We like to do thing secretly and in a humbleness.

Sometimes you need to display your capabilities in order to prevent your enemy from having the wrong idea about you. As the saying goes prevention is always better than cure.

I'm pretty sure once the Japanese satellite got fried, they will let the US military know. Most of the time, we know each side capabilities. It doesn't get out to the public very often.

China can also turn the satellites into the space junks.
