I've met many Muslims in India and abroad and have few Muslim friends as well.....I found one thing in common....they all smell like shit and to mask that, they apply tons of 'atar' all over their body....

Believe it or not, one of my female friends was in love with a Muslim guy.......one day he took her home to meet his parents.....the next day I heard that they broke up.......the female friend later told me that they literally eat where they shit, after seeing that, she broke up.

It is clear that many people who live in households with latrines still defecate in the open. What we need now is a focus on motivating latrine use rather than continued efforts to build more latrines. Some of our key findings include:

• 40% of households with working latrines have at least one member who defecates in the open.
• More than half the people who have government latrines don’t use them.
• Among those who defecate in the open, 47% say they do so because it is pleasurable, comfortable, or convenient. Toilet use is often considered optional, not an urgent need.
• 51% of those who defecate in the open report that widespread open defecation would be at least as good for child health as latrine use.
• People want expensive latrines: most families in rural India can already afford to buy the simple latrines that save lives in Bangladesh.

To achieve its goal of eliminating open defecation by 2019, the Government must redirect sanitation policy towards promoting latrine use. India needs nothing short of a Latrine Use Revolution, publicly directed by the country’s top leaders and known to every rural Indian.

Yep Muslims in Bangladesh are very good with hygiene aswell as the Hindus in bd . Only the very poor may have a problem. Maybe it's just a Indian problem...

If that was the case, I would have mentioned only India, not the entire subcontinent.....
I've interacted with Afghan(not many), Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslims(many).........one can recognize the distinctive smell of 'atar' even from a distance and as soon as they come near, you can tell that, even the extremely strong smell of 'atar'(that they use so generously) is unable to mask their pungent body odor.....

Looool yeah I'd like to see these stats about Bangladesh please because as far as I know openly defecating in Bangladesh is virtually extinct maybe 2 percent or so.
