My grand mother died when I was 5-6 years old and after that nobody from my house died. I was too young to realize the pain when someone dies. My popho jee died 2 years ago from the similar Cancer desease and that was very painful but this time it's my dad suffering from this desease and I can't explain the position I am in right now.

bro, Take him to UK! Most of the Liver diseases are related to Alcoholism! So western world is very much experienced in this field comparing to sub continent.

He didn't smoke a cigarette in his life and you are talking about alcohol

Yeah but we know how slow the treatment is in UK. I have seen all when my dad's sister was suffering from Cancer and the kind of treatment they provided to her

In Pakistan its in the water...
Imran's wife Jemima had compiled data on certain types of cancers pandemic in specific areas of Pakistan.
Nobody cares about industrial waste seeping into water table.
People can boil water to kill germs, but boiling doesnt remove chemicals.

I would suggest you ask your dad to drink bottled water of a good brand from now onwards...

I pray for his well being.

i didn't mean that. I meant Western doctors most probably are more experienced with liver diseases and transplantation because most of the alcoholics are found there..... Severe alcoholism leads to liver cancer... If Hepatitis B,Cis not treated, it also causes liver Cirrhosis... There are 5-6 other causes...

You are right and I will try my best to convince him to come to UK and if all goes well, he might come to UK. But so far after researching all day my opinion is tilting towards India or China for liver transplantation if required

^ Bangalore maybe second best option. China is worse than Pakistan Bangladesh in Medical science.... May Allah give your father Shifa. Good night.

@Zakii
Two close relatives with same type of cancer?
I would insist ask your family living in that area to stop drinking water from Boring...

Same goes for Drinking water outside...
Gujranwala had a recent epidemic of all sorts of Liver diseases due to people Drinking Sugarcane juice from Roadside vendours...
The vendours just dip the glass ina bucket of water in which they had dipped another 100 glasses..and germs awere transferred this way to half of Gujranwala...

No sir, many Pakistanis now go to chinese universities for medical degrees..China is not the same as it used to be 10 years ago..they have catapulted ahead of most countries in every field including medicine.

^^^ You are missing the obvious link Safriz. It could be genetic rather than the water source.

My popho lived about 40 years in UK before she died. She was a regular visitor to Pakistan (probably once per each year) but I highly doubt the cancer was due to the dirty water. I am not sure actually

It could be true for my dad but after thinking that my phopho too suffered similar problem and that her cancer lasted for several years before she died. I think it could be of that nature

Yeah it is possible, I am sure he too must have drank the sugarcane juice from those glasses or the water of "bore" might have caused this desease but since the day he started suffering from hepatitis he was very curious about the food he is eating and the water he is drinking. It was mostly a branded water but you can obviously expect him to drink other water from time to time as it is simply not possible to not use "bore ka paani" while living in Pakistan

If he's living in Punjab than it's most probably Water, recently we had a Cancer study done here and they found uranium and other heavy metals in the ground water.....thanks to the indiscriminate use of fertilizers that have seeped into the water table.

Please give advice on liver transplantation hospitals in India or China

and if there is any way of not donating the living person's liver and still getting the job done. I am not sure but it seems like I am either too late or see little light after the tunnel and if there is some light I am not sure if we will be able to obtain visa at right time and if we will be able to go to the right hospital and if the successful operation will be conducted or not

Please help, I am really very desperate right now

Zakii - Gangarams in Delhi is the best and 5 years ago a friend of mine went through it and they charged her 25 lakhs in total and it was the cheapest(the donor was her cousin) in terms of dollar it is around $50,000 - And she had to live near the hospital for a month for post operative care.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, Hospitals India, Super Specialty Hospital in India

Thanks for the link. I was reading about this doctor who used to operate in the same hospital before moving his team to this place

Liver Transplant Surgeon, Dr. A. S. Soin, Liver Transplant Doctor, Liver Transplant Specialist

I am very positive that somebody from within the family will be ready to become living-donor (and hopefully I will have the courage to become one) -- but just in case is there any chance of arrangement for donors in place of something else?

Obviously the life and death is the ownership of God but just wondering if we could arrange somebody without donating our own organ? and keep this option only when it's required at all cost
