Been there, seen it.
Its only for those who can enjoy RAW nature, there is no comfort, no resort, infact no proper hotel too.
I was put up in to PWD Guest house that two has just 2 rooms. Nothing much to eat and for sure nothing else to do.
Its best to visit in Nov - Feb when the rainfall is minimal, although one might see snow at times. Otherwise reaching there is a big pain, roads are very bad and its almost the eastern end of country.

Its beautiful, language is small barrier, hindi works fine to certain extent, Assamese is common language there.
One can go from Ghy - Dibrugarh - Demaji route or take the delhi - narlagun (suppose to upto demaji, not sure if its ready) And it takes around 2 days to cover those odd 350-400kms journey.

Only reason why its getting so much of high light is because the tourism minister of arunachal is from same region and he is promoting it.

A good place to site IAF helicopters, they bring in ration and other items which are then moved to forward posts in the region.

Other places to visit in the region is Ziro Valley and if you are adventurous then do give a shot at Dibang wild life sanctury to watch red panda, flying squirrel and many more rare fauna and flora.

Kindly keep it untouched. I have seen what commercialisation has done to ooty moonar and madikeri.

Leave Nature alone.
