Most of the points on the map do not represent attacks or incidents done by islamist organizations. Look at ETA in Spain,IRA in UK or even the FLNC in Corsica,not even adding others done by far left/right groups,independentist organizations and what not...

To be honest i don't know what are those 3 red points i don't remember any terrorist attacks in poland there where few attemps ...

I am sure that this would be illegal currently under Italian law.

There would have to be a change in the law to make this chant "Allahu Akbar" first illegal and then an authorisation of shoot to kill allowed. Even if the law is changed, it would fall fowl of the EU Human Rights act.

Think the major is playing politics here. The family of anyone killed under these circumstances can take the Italian state to court under EU law for sure.

My point was that some geezers love to show this map and show how Poland has no terror attacks because it has a low number of muslims,if not none.

Because following the logic and their map,there have been islamist terror attacks in Czech Republic,Romania,Eastern Ukraine,Belarus,Latvia,Hungary etc...... and there aren't that much muslims there.

No it is not. Shouting "God is Great" cannot be interpreted as a threat to public safety as it is just a statement of personal faith. The fact that some terrorists have said this before attacks is irrelevant. I suggest you read up on both Italian and EU law. The mayor is just playing to the crowd.

Hint: Ireland, Basque Country, Corsica, Eastern Ukraine, at least half of those if not more dont have anything to do with the topic.

Actually there is a merit to the argument that without Muslims there would be less if not zero terror attacks like we are seeing in Europe now.

To be honest the attacks are being mainly done by a specific type of Muslim that is easy to radicalise - Arabs. No shame in saying this at all. Also in the UK we have seen Pakistanis carrying out terror attacks as well. So it is not a Muslim problem in general but restricted mainly to people whose heritage is countries that have terrorist problems - Arab world and Pakistan.

Venice's right-wing mayor has ordered copsto shoot ANYONE who shouts 'Allahu Akbar' - rather than risk a terror attack .

The phrase in Arabic for 'God is greatest' has been shouted in multiple terrorist incidents across the continent.


The Times reports that Italian mayor Luigi Brugnaro claimed that his city Venice was safer than Barcelona - where 14 people died being run down by a van last week.

Speaking at a conference in Rimini, north east Italy, he further revealed the extraordinary order he has given to armed police at one of the most popular tourist attractions in Europe.


Brugnaro was applauded by delegates when he said: “In contrast with Barcelona, where they had not set up protection, we keep our guard up.

“If anyone runs into St Mark’s Square shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar’, we will take him down.

"A year ago I said within four paces, now within three. I will say it in Venetian: ‘Ghe Sparemo’ (We will shoot him)."

He went on to recall the arrest in March of four suspected jihadists who allegedly planned to kill hundreds of tourist by blowing up the world famous Rialto bridge.




He added: "They wanted to go to Allah. But we'll send them straight to Allah before they can do any damage."

Video has subsequently emerged of the left-wing mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, rushing up to Brugnaro after the speach shouting "Allahu Akbar!" and laughing.

He has since taken to Facebook to apologise for his actions.

Mr Nardella said: "I apologise for some comments in an online video. It was not my intention to offend anyone, not least the Muslim community, nor to joke about their religion or neither to reference the tragic events of our times.

"In fact, during that video, I distance myself from the statement (made) by my colleague Brugnaro about Muslims during his speech at the Rimini meeting."

Last night Luigi Brugnaro added: "I have never been politically correct, in fact I am politically correct and that’s why we also need a naval blockade against people coming into Italy from north Africa."

The phrase is first believed to have been used by the Prophet Muhammad in the 7th century before going into battle.

It first resurfaced in connection with modern atrocities in notes made by the 9/11 ringleader Mohamed Atta found after the attack on the World Trade Center.

He wrote: “Shout ‘Allahu Akbar’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.”

The phrase was used as inspiration by the killers of Lee Rigby in London and witnesses reported hearing the attackers at the Bataclan in Paris shouting out the phrase.



Nobody from the Venice police department has commented.

Well the fact is that no law in the world would allow the police to shoot someone who shouted "God is Great" in public. I can imagine the total slaughter of the Italian state in the EU court if any incident like this was ever to happen - assuming that Italian law can somehow be changed to allow this kind of stupidity in the first place.

So now the genius of a Mayor has made this known in public, actual terrorists will shout "God is great" before they start killing and risk being shot, or will they use some brains and commit their act and then shout the words? You see how this is all for show?

Being an idiot does not mean you forfeit your life.
