What's new

May join hands with Imran if it's in the best interest of Pak: Musharraf

Musharraf's invites have little to do with his respect, rather his stand on issues. He is known to be pro-west.. A westernized drinking man.. someone who will also pass unnoticed at most entry points.

IK on the other hand, is much better known in the UK and apart from his earlier repute has his burden of Taliban Khan to carry.
He is also much more relavent, people and governments follow IK a lot more than Musharraf(who has to struggle for any attention). Invites at TT seminars and lectures at universities are one thing.. being recognized enough to be searched is another.
Although Ive heard the UK airports in general are now getting more and more paranoid.

That , and his repute for being anti-west.
The UK gov probably has him on a list for his purported statements in support of the Taliban.

As IK will learn, if you scorn the west then you shall pay.

Its kind a funny how you hve tried to paint IK mr right here!
What IK has been called through out his cricketing carrier ?a playboy & wht a playboy means in the west think u know very well, IK met his divorced wife in a pub?
What political expereince he owns ?
None!
What adminstrative level he has served ?
None!
Why musharaf been respected in the world?
Cause he has rulled a nuckear nation years & years, & commanded one of the biggest armies in the world thts why his veiws still seen more credible?
Well, musharaf,s has cleared this speculation many times that if IK likes thn they can hve a political alliance bt if he don't , thn musharaf isn't dying for his alliance!
Same for today the question was from a journalist, tht who would you really like to have a political alliance with, so his answer was same ?
But I think its better for him to wait , time will surly come when he can do the politics in pakistan?

.
Nothing surprising pretty much 80% of Mush party already became PTI..!

Since last 2 years rumors are establishment is trying to bring Mush and IK on 1 platform! So everything is going by plan stay tight peeps .!! But don't forget as long as anti establishment parties are alive there is still hope for Pakistan

You are paranoid and overreacting. I am painting no one Mr right here.
I am explaining perceptions.. of what the world sees.

As for Musharrafs rule.. dont get me started on the false consumer economy and the war he led us into. or wars..
or the bounties he collected to live in his luxury kensington flat.
His rule is pretty similar to all dictators.. welcomed and booted out... it reflects more on Pakistan rather than him since his decisions after 2001 were pretty much all skewered with him trying to save his seat one way or the other.

Experience counts but if it has been bad mostly except for businessmen/retired officers or their kids and kin...
who were the only people to turn up at his "rally" in Islamabad where 50 or so people turned up that left even Musharraf broken.
I have little love for IK.. but only pity for Musharraf.. for he could have accomplished a lot.. instead he succumbed to power lust and drowned in it. A man who was drunken and dancing with wine bottles on his head around young women while Balochi's died in floods.. one who danced to the claps of waiters in drunken stupor in a five star hotel..while young Officers had their heads crushed by Barbarians in swat.. This is not a leader.. but just a memory of people remembering better economic times..
times they forget were fueled by their own blatant consumerism and not actual industrial development.
The only good thing he did give was the media freedom... turned out to be his own downfall.

Sory to disagree!
We can hve rounds of anti-musharaf & anti-imran when ever where you like?
No one can deney tht USD was 62/1 usd?
How much was a liter of petrol in his times?
What was the price of unit of electricity?
We can go miles & miles!
But the fact is its better for musharaf to stop advocating damo-crazy in pakistan & stop this un-worthy politics which isn't going to solve the problems of common poors of pakistan?
Any allaince with IK will a disrespect for a person like musharaf anyways!

. .
Afterall he has been a lap dog of western countries. He is the guy who damaged our image...he is the guy who sowed the seeds of doubt in the worldsminds about the security of our nuclear assets just to get their support for his illegal rule, he is the one who gave you the gift of Zardari, he is the one who casued unrest in Baluchistan, he is the one who backed MQM for may 12 carnage............it's him who should die like Qazzafi......Qazzafi never deserted his country or people............not a snitch like Musharraf who coined "Pakistan first" and then ran away as soon as lost power...................

Stoppage of IK in US and UK is confirmation of his strong chracter that he is not for sale and he is not a western puppet............you lack skills of interpretting such basic signs but like to discuss politics.........

Musharaf invited by many respected fourms in many countries, & still is greatly respected by all the major govts!
While khan shahib been stopped & disrespectfully searched at all the major airports round the world?

hahaha "May join hands with Imran if it's in the best interest of Pak: Musharraf"

who is looking for IK's support to save his sinking boat here

Any allaince with IK will a disrespect for a person like musharaf anyways!

there is height of ignorance, but perhaps you were born one:rolleyes:

yes he was more western atleast he didnt important reforms

yes he invited benazir(and not zardari neither he killed benazir so that zardari collects sympathy votes)

yes he killed baloch but he didnt kill any innocent baloch

yes he backed MQM on 12 may against CJ what wrong did he did?

as far as security is concerned he was the guy was introduced modernisation in our military, who gave al khalid tank? who gave JF17, who made endless military deals??

What? Lal Masjid was not his mistake...................you must be kidding..........

how was lal masjid a mistake, an extremist tried to made our capital hostage, and then tried to flee in burkha

.
Personal attacks navermake your arguments more convincing, infact they point to your running out of logical arguments to support your pov.

there is height of ignorance, but perhaps you were born one:rolleyes:

Sorry! can't comprehend your above statement.

yes he invited benazir(and not zardari neither he killed benazir so that zardari collects sympathy votes)
Who cleared Zardari, a criminal/convict through NRO?

yes he killed baloch but he didnt kill any innocent baloch
We are not talking about afghanistan, there are courts in Pakistan (the ones he attacked, and from which he is running away), if Bugti was not innocent, he should have been tried like they do in civilized world ( and you claim him to be more westerner? drinking does not make any one westerner)

yes he backed MQM on 12 may against CJ what wrong did he did?
if you have the heart to ask whats wrong with that, then no answer is gonna satisfy you. There is an AYAT in Holy Quran for certain people, "they hear, but they don't hear, they see, but they don't see"

as far as security is concerned he was the guy was introduced modernisation in our military, who gave al khalid tank? who gave JF17, who made endless military deals??
don't make a fool of your self by such childish talk.........

how was lal masjid a mistake, an extremist tried to made our capital hostage, and then tried to flee in burkha

Oh really...............Well we have the same commando units who free Holy Kabba from occupants in probably 79 (not sure about the year though) they didn't burned down Kaaba or used phophorous bombs.................he attacked Baitullah, and markmy words he will die homeless...like a dog in western countries and get burried with the infidals he tried toplease by attacking Lal Masjid, and I pray to ALLAH to live to see that day. Ameen.

Bugti killed himself dear, he was asked to be arrested like a gentlemen, the army guys went in the cave bugti was hiding to make negotiations, bugti fearing his honour will go down being arrested and jailed, he blew his own cave and got killed

bugti was innocent, no sane pakistan would say that, openly he said in the TV they he wants to separate the balochistan, he killed many innocent bugtis himself, and he had private prison/jail

.
I think Musharaf is a good strategic thinker

Imran Khan as President
Musharaf as Prime Minster

Would be a very good combination for Pakistan in general in my opinion

Musharaf`s mistakes

a) He invited PPP goons due to pressure from US embassy
b) US embassy paid TV networks to focus on Red Mosque issue to kick him out of power

In general I like his mind and thinking ability he is a educated man with vision

Imran Khan also has a vision , while Musharaf broke down under US pressure Imran Khan , has been fighting for his ideal
for last 20 years and I have not seem him change his stance , once he makes a stance he lives by it and stand by it

All best wishes to Brave Tiger Imran Khan

As for Mr Bugti he was armed Militia with in state of Pakistan and he used violence to strike fear
Malitias have no role in our society we have courts and surpreme courts and police

Don't believe what that drunkard lier tells you, when you send PA officers to arrest you, they don't need your permission to arrest...............and the whole story of exploding the cave howmany officers get martyred or injured in that blast? ever heard of any account of that anywhere?

Musharraf himself is on record saying, "they (Bugti) would'nt know what hit them". And I do remember reading in newspapers that US helped PA in pinpointing Bugti's location through tracking his phone signals, and the cave was target of LGB.

And I for a fact have heard this from a PA Colnel, who was told by one of the persons who recovered Bugti's body from the cave that Bugtis dead body was only about 3/4 feet in length because of the heavy rock that directly fell above his head.

blowing ones own cave does not result in dwarfted dead bodies, and knowing Bugti, he was not the man to blow himself up.... its as unbelievable as if some one tell me that Musharrf died in a SAJDA.

Bugti killed himself dear, he was asked to be arrested like a gentlemen, the army guys went in the cave bugti was hiding to make negotiations, bugti fearing his honour will go down being arrested and jailed, he blew his own cave and got killed

As outsider, I dont think India, US, EU will ever support Musharraf. Neither Baluchistan will support them.

.
^^nit doesnt make an ounce of difference if you support him or not

. .
Desperation at its highest. How can this be a kick *** combination when one criminally allowed americans to attack Pakistani citizens using drones and the other one is fighting against it.

One is a lapdog of US the other anti american

It's better for your people not to get up & continue to sleep.

He didn't allow US to carry out drone attacks in Pakistan there were total of may be 4 drone attacks in his time as compared to what your so called democrazy have allowed US to do. Those drone attacks in his time were strongly condemned by Gen. Musharraf.

His rule was one of the best in 30 years till date. Nawaz, Benazair & Zardari rule combime does not even come close to Gen. Musharraf rule.

Haters can go to hell but for me he was the savior of Pakistan & he did what was in the best interest of Pakistan at that time. His best rule was damaged by these a** hole choudharies.
