J&K's future 'secure' with India: Maulana Dehlavi.
Jammu | Monday, Jan 14 2013 IST

Asserting that people want to live in peace and harmony, Anjuman Minhaje Rasool Chairman Maulana Syed Athar Hussain Dehlavi today said the future of Jammu and Kashmir is 'secure' only with India. "Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the country and its future is 'secure' only with India," Mr Dehlavi told reporters after completing his two-day tour to the bordering and remote belts of Rajouri and Poonch districts. "The people of bordering belts of Jammu and Kashmir, no doubt are facing neglect and living in miserable conditions due to no proper road connectivity, modes of communication and technology but still they feel themselves 'secure' with India," he said. He said the State and the Central governments should pay attention in the development of these areas adding, "they have more faith in Indian Army, which keeps raising infrastructure and other facilities in these areas under Operation Sadbhavna." People want to live in peace and they have realised that their future is 'secure' with India, he said. On present situation along the borders, Mr Dehlavi said it is high time now "the Government of India must seriously think over the issue and frame a policy to fight Pakistan." "By hanging one Ajmal Kasab, only 26/11 chapter has closed but the ground situation has not changed yet. India has to eliminate and curb thousands like Kasab being trained in the camps and waiting across the line to sneak into Indian territory," he said. The Anjuman chairman further said stern action was needed to be taken against people like Lashkar Chief Hafeez Saeed and Lahvi Jhangvi. "The Government of India should constitute a policy to boost the Indian Army," he said, adding that India should not think of holding dialogue with Pakistan as there was no responsible authority to be relied upon. "There is no government in the Pakistan as it is being run by the coalition of drug mafia, arms dealers and the militant outfits," he alleged and said the Government of India should not take Taliban's threat of spreading 'jehad' in the country lightly and constitute a strategy to fight militancy. "There must also be a proper coordination between the intelligence agencies operating in India so that timely and swift action can be taken when required," he said and added that the world should unite India in fighting the terrorism. Looks like a shia grouping.

Kashmiri shias never wanted to join Pakistan...they are more comfortable with the idea of India than with any other.

Actually problem exist mostly in northern part of Kashmir valley.
