Most of Muslims in Kolkata are Urdu speakers, many of them came to Kolkata after fleeing from Mukti Bahini, so it's natural for them to sympathize with war criminals of Bangladesh.

Anyway as long as they are indulging in peaceful protest with prior permission from police, they are well within their democratic right.
