Maryam Nawaz UK Sojourn, Or Is It?

Prime Minister daughter in UK for a week layover or is it a abode?
Her own tweet...
"In UK to see my son. Will Insha'Allah be back in a week or so. The spin being given to my benign visit by a section of media is ridiculous".

Lets not speculate too deep into the crystal ball, but just for the sake of curiosity, if we let run the mythical Unicorn or the mythological Pegaus - her UK visit may be to ward off
1. Any lightning bolt from the dormant Dawn Leaks cloud OR
2. Possible unfavorable Panamagate verdict from SC.
If both leaks are plugged, this sojourn may turn into an abode.!

Same was said about Zardari after memogate, Nawaz during the dharna, about Kh Asif during the lockdown. If it were associated with army, they would have already leaked the news of her involvement to their people in the media and got her onto ECL.

Btw Dawn's story got vindicated as army acted against JuD only after getting a "strong persuasion" from US. So what was fabricated in the whole setup?

1. Daughter of PM cannot be put on ECL
2. Question about Dawn leaks was not about it was fabrication but leaking highly sensitive information from a very high level security meeting. Calling leaks as baseless was a spin for damage control otherwise why Pervez Rashid was fired and committee setup to investigate.
3. House arrest of HS was Fed Govt action (Though with tacit approval from Army)
You may disagrer with the analysis.

I think the media love with Nawaz sharif is a bit blown out of proportion, as he was forced out of country in his exile days and it is difficult for person to manage affair when they face a forced exile.

No one keeps any records for stuff more then 2-3 years

Well the concern is legitimate however the focus on this issue has been blown over the top considering China/Russia ignored the panama leaks

Also NRO kinda gives him some protection against past claims

Politicians were asked to come back under NRO to start a brand new chapter in rebuilding process , closing all past chapters against political leaders

That also included return of Nawaz sharif , so to back track and now say he misse on certain item does not makes complete sense , the court should have rejected allegations against him specially due to existance of NRO treaty

For me the debate is if you are in exile , and you get offer from Government of Pakistan to come back be part of political setup and rebuild , and all cases against politicians would be nullified (clean slate) that generally gives an impression a fresh start

So really don't understand why old claims beyond a certain date/time are being claimed against his family

Just becasue there is NRO does not means Nawaz sharif should still not resign

• He still has not answered how he manages to live his lavish life style some money must be flowing in from some where
• NRO should just free his family from persecution

NRO can act as a defence against past claims , however then he should also declare interest to leave office cleanly
