There's constitutional cover, and Federal Gov hasn't said anything about not giving approval to DGISPR to speak on such matters. In NS meetings, NAP duties are assigned and agreed upon so who the heck are you to question if all?

Of course. I have no problem with such a faithful defense of whatever the Army does, no matter what. And yet Pakistan is where it is, and headed where it is. The results are before us all.

Where Pakistan is due to the whole host of issues and not just because certain someone has a hatred for a specfic institution.

There is no hatred in recognizing all institutions by the same consistent legal yardsticks provided by the Constitution. But you are right, there are a whole host of other issues plaguing Pakistan too, but some are within the very foundations of the country.

that's a sweeping statement that you always make. If govt feels it needs assistance of its chowkidars it does so, When current govt or its populace at large as no issue with that, I dont find any reason why the bandwidth should be wasted discussing the boogeyman myth

I am not making any sweeping statements, but rather very specific ones:

The Objectives Resolution is a deep flaw, mixing matters of religion with matters of State, and is proving to be nearly fatal to the country.

And the Army continues to overreach in many areas beyond its legal mandate, leading to severe deleterious consequences for the country.

Both issues are destroying the very foundations of the country, and I stand by both statements, made without any bias or hatred, but only a fair assessment with ample evidence to back both.
