What's new

Many Indian people learn Chinese Language

It's not racist, like how I said that Indian languages sound like African noises (while constantly head wobbling) is not either.

It's just an observation, like your observation. And it's true, watch anyone try to imitate an Indian language, the only way they can get the sound right is by wobbling their head.

And can you explain to me why the Australian Prime Minister can speak Chinese, and so can the US Presidential candidate as well as the US Treasury secretary? Why does no one bother to learn Hindi/Tamil?

Hahahahahaa Loool this wobble thing is cracking me up, never heard Indian before just like once or twice what do they do.

. .
Absolutely yes.

Why would the leader of a country address his fellow countrymen during a tragedy by using a Western language?

Because the country has 22 widely spoken languages? Including English? And because English is the one language understood by speakers from Aryan, Dravidian and Tibeto-Burman language groups?

But then, if you had had the cosmopolitan approach necessary to understand this about another country, you would have lost your unique identity as a xenophobe, and as a representative of a brutal majority that has crushed its ethnic minorities, wouldn't you? What a pity that would be!

Ooh, look! You got thanked by someone. Next, you can **** his **** (I use British spelling).

But why English first? English is the first language Manmohan Singh always uses to address his fellow citizens.

Because the Indian system was borrowed from Britain, including the Parliament and the language.

Really? They speak English in parliament etc?

Yes, since English is the only way for Government ministers from say West Bengal to communicate with Government ministers from Tamil Nadu for instance.

Why not borrow? That's rich coming from you, after you've borrowed aircraft carriers, fighter planes, bombers, tanks, helicopters, cars, engines, everything that is not concealed within encrypted computer files. Open computer files are of course one more resource from which to borrow.

And it seems odd that borrowing from a stable and on-going political structure evolved over centuries, without interruption, does not go well with your aesthetic appreciation, but a political system borrowed from a couple of German philosophers who never held an administrative position in their lives, implemented in a country which collapsed and broke into its constituent parts, seems OK. All this at the expense of the intrinsically Chinese historical system of a centralised imperial system, with repeated, meticulously reported failures through the years.

Is there any non-Western country in the world which is ruled by someone born in Europe (Sonia) and who's head of state only addresses the nation in English?

^c'mon now, deliberately being a racist and dimwitted might be hard work for some members or perhaps it is mirror to the upbringing one had.

We were no longer Communist after our market reforms in 1978.

Our system is now Socialism with Chinese characteristics.

And India never got to choose their system through referendum. The British created the Indian Parliament based on the British system.

And that makes me less happy or prosperous? It is amusing to see your xenophobia boiling to come out. You were happy enough with Mongols and Manchus, who ruled through fear and repression. This woman adopted the country as her own, and has worked throughout her life after her husband's death for it.

I don't agree with her policies, or with her obsession with the continuation of her family, but her being Italian has nothing to do with it.

That is the difference between you and normal Indians. Head-bobbing apart.

Why you getting emotional and angry? It actually was funny and I was wondering not insulting.

I am SO sorry. I apologise. I thought you needed some help, and I was merely being helpful.

When I get emotional and angry, you will know all about it :-)

fail on both statements. but why bother to clarify again, you dont seem to learn without a gun to the head.

Actually the difference between someone from HK and someone from an Indian city is that we have a 30 times higher average income.

And Manchus are Chinese. There is no country in the world called Manchuria, and the Manchus now all speak Chinese and follow Chinese culture.

Indians on the other hand speak English and follow an English Parliamentary system.

No problem with having a Aryan woman ruling an Aryan land. Indo Europeans have every right to stay and rule India because they conquered this land in around 1500 BCE. No problem with speaking an Aryan language also.

I would be happy if every citizen of India becomes pure blood Aryan like her.

As I said, they should create a special compartment for illiterates and racist xenophobes like you.

Several hundred free Indians met in conclave over nearly 42 months and devised the system that we use. The British created nothing; we chose a mixture of democratic systems from all over the world, picking the best from each. "Borrowing", it is called, but you would know nothing about borrowing that doesn't involve a screwdriver, would you?

Why do you try to be smart when you know so little?

That's rich, coming from someone who knows nothing at all except low-brow condescension.

India never had a choice, since India was not a country before the British created it.

And what was the result of this? Your West Bengal, once so proud and noble is now a slum.
