Poor family planning.

Thats because of 4 wives and not following any contraception.No wonder they are to be blamed themselves for their poverty.How can a single man nuture 4 wives and 19 children?
Out of those 19 kids 10 will end up as petty job workers, milkman, paperboy, cycle puncture shop walla, petrol pump helper, auto rickshaw driver, the females are married off early.
and 1 might become educated a clerk end up in gulf while the rest become rowdy sheeters .Some go beyond history sheeter into extreme.

People with this approach. marry 3-4 wives ( but no financial back up to support a large family )

No money for a large family- Blame government.

no money to get those kids proper food and shelter- blame government

No proper education for these poor kids - Blame government

these undereducated kids don't get proper jobs- Blame government

No proper jobs so no financial backup for these kids and their families in the future- blame government


and then these ppl cry all over the media that we are not getting what we should get because we are not in Majority

Sir government can educate you but can't compel you to practice these things in life. and its more about common sense.

i personally have tried telling few ppl about not going with such a large family when you can't get them proper life.

and there were two explainations

1) more Kids, more helping hands in the family

2) Kids are gift of god. not having them is against our religious beliefs

and when argument got escalated. . i was asked to shut up and stay out of it because i'm not a part of their community

What can govt. do?
If they start regulating madarsas the "seculars" start crying. - The "seculars" have managed to exempt Madarsas from Right to Education because they are minority institutiion
If they start family planning the "seculars" start crying
When BJP says to implement Uniform Civil Code which will make all this 4 wife nonsense illegal the "seculars" and Pakistani start crying for minority rights
The "Seculars" actually encourage this hum 5 hamare 25 because these 25 will become the future vote bank

It is the Muslim community who has to look into its own hearts and say "We will get out of this regressive thinking and make our community a part of the modern world with other mainstream Indians."

Sorry for saying this but People like him only deserve curse nothing less than that! There should be government-imposed limit of two children allowed per family. Until and unless government won't impose such limits, no one can work for their emancipation...

Government make the rules. But implementation of such rules which have been intertwined with religious prejudices have always been a burdensome task for the government and it's different institutions. Poor Muslims in most of the border districts hesitate to visit health centers and provide their children with necessary vaccinations in spite of repeated government appeals. The ignorance on health, nourishment of mother and children have been appallingly pathetic among the Muslims mainly. It will be easy to blame them first hand but the problem is far deeply rooted where the Government has very little to do.
