Precisely! Mukul Roy & Madan Mitra are the money bags of Mamta for the party. Taking them two down will dent the party severely as these two were serious fund raisers for the party's campaigns! Detention of Srinjoy Bose & Madan Mitra is bound to make other top leaders in the party nervous, including Mukul Roy & Mamta! Afterall one can not discount the possibilities of her sarcy prediction turning out to be real! 3 out of 5 'chors' are already behind the bar.. just two to go!

True. But 2010 has shown that a massive political monolith can be removed with a single stroke (last assembly election before that was quite in favor of the left) of violent agitation. The left always enjoyed around 50% voting percentage through out their rule but TMC's voting percentage roams around 40%. Also, the communal card will not make much difference I guess. People at the ground level are smarter and knows political safeguard is not much needed for the minorities here. Cadres are mostly opportunists and recent victory of BJP in a Muslim majority area like Basirhat proves that TMC can not rely on 'minority votebank' any more.

True but she kept fighting even after winning elections. What I meant was she cannot separate the agitational positioning from the actual act of governing.

Recent sucess in LS elections has only enhanced her & her partymen's conviction in agitational politics. But there is a huge difference between holding local Bengali voters to ransom & convincing rest of India with her bravado. Her intention to protest this in parliament may not find any takers. Even Congress will think twice before lending support to her raising ruckus in the parliament on this issue.

'Governing' is not her forte, during her entire political career the only thing she has learned and did was protesting against the local CPM government, everything she has achieved in her career is because of that single point agenda, unfortunately she has never learned to govern. One more thing she has never learned is 'when to stop'.
