Malaysia: First World By 2020?

It might. But not before Asian countries finish their dig.

I don't care much about biological origin, which every one trace back to microbes.

and also regretful of being born a bit early that China still has a big lot to dig to reconstruct prehistoric culture history. The eventual goal is to know how cultures emerge and developed in the last 10000 years.

Peoples with native legends of early invention of fundamental techs (like fire, household, wheels etc) should keep in mind that their own history may have something to do with the origin of these developments. Cultures with God/immortal-creation legends, fire-stealing myth, and phonetic scripts, on the other hand, are strong indicators of them acquiring those as second hand knowledge from more advanced cultures.

Correct. Exact migration process and routes and times are still being discovered/analysed today. It is quite complex.

However no one can deny (yet) that humanity itself originated in Africa (from scientific perspective).

I thought it's far away from England, those criminals lost all chances back to hometown.

Both you and prima are right.

Australia is generally more harsh area to live and survive...and build up a civilisation. There was also no easy spread of grain crops or herd type animals to the area, hence aboriginals stayed generally as hunter-gatherers similar to Native Americans in North America and Amazon.

British just used this fact to use Australia as a convenient penal colony and also expand their footprint at the same time since they could not encourage much white settlement through other means (like say they did in the Americas alongside Spanish and Portuguese).

It took much effort and time to get Australia more "liveable" for modern civilisation standards...and there was no doubt many mistakes and crimes along the way.

possibly so. the land of Australia not only extreme in climate but also full of deadly animals, perhaps they're going to send these offenders to meet their own death as they seems to be reluctant to gives death penalty to their (now royally disowned) english lads and lass.

too bad they're underestimating them. the bogans are occupying the land while they unoriginates the natives by giving them the name ab-origin

I know what you mean. India faces same situation. We will have to wait till both societies are more wealthier and have the time and motivation to properly investigate their historical origins and foundations of their civilisation more thoroughly.

True. More research and investigation is definitely needed. But we have come along way since thinking everyone simply came out of the Bibilical fertile crescent area and that was the singular source for all other civilisation.

Lol, full of deadly animals. You really refresh the human history. How could human be ever afraid of deadly animals? never

Don't need to hide anything. The truth was only one: holocaust. That's the reason they except the Australia out of the migration map. This map is an European products.
In the colonial era, the civilization gap was not as large as European stated. The gap maybe 10-20 years, one could produce artillery and another could only produce gun. But the colonial war enlarged the gap. It's like nowadays a nuclear nation attack a non-nuclear nation, their gap is actually not big, but after the atomic-attack, the gap will be enlarged.

except you can't make much of these animals, let alone that they're not to be useful as foods. i never say humans should be afraid of them. yet if you are in the same place as these animals and you don't find any other food source except the other poisonous and parasitic ones, your in for a deep shxt.

it's not always the fiercest or the venomous that threatens, but most of the it's the parasitic insects, hence why i call them deadly.

you thought the average flea is just small annoyance? here is a poisonous flea that burrows through your skin

Ticks: poisonous hitchhikers - Australian Geographic

or just go for the list of 30

Top 30 deadly animals in Australia - Australian Geographic

you of all people should've know how many chinese died when the swarm of Asian Giant Hornet attacks. even the PLA needs to burn them to crisp with flamethrower

Agree with you my friend. Not trying to hide anything at all. This is the sad truth of colonial legacy countries....especially those with relatively low population density (americas, australia).

It is simply the strong and greedy overpowering the weak and naive....by virtue of the sudden increment in tech in short span of time in Europe due to the local conditions of continued warfare/chaos combined with just enough civilisation/society cohesion. It is what it is.....but many still live in denial. What to do?

Back to the topic, first world or not is in their heart.
Do guys know Bhutan? People there are extremely satisfied with their lives and feel happy thought in someone's eyes, she is not a first world.

I agree. Malaysians on the whole to me seem OK with their progress and their country's direction.

I personally think that by 2025 - 2030 they will be a developed country in the traditional definition. 2020 may be a bit too early.

China went throught hell before Mao united China. India was given independent on a plater.
Look where both are now.

Singapore a swamp counrty with zero natural resources is what it is today solely because of its people.

India get their independent in poisonous platter while China is never truly colonized..... USA, Japan, South Korea and Europe went through hell several times, look where are they now

Not discounting Singapore achievement, but if the British bomb Singapore to the ground, killed some/most of Singapore leaders in fighting, and forced Singapore to pay for part of British WW2 debt from the start. Chance are, Singapore will have different future and have a different view of the outside world when they finally got their independent.

To sum it up, who can predict/guarantee what kind of leader independent Singapore will get, if LKY died in independence war?

.
When one speak of the Austronesian, it generally based on a migration theory on a group of people who speak what appeared to have familiar sounding languages in Southeast Asia.

Indonesia which was drawn was never a cradle of civilization of any race in ancient history.

In the absence of archaeological proof or unique genetic markers, alas these are merely theories according to studies conducted in both Singapore and Malaysia.

So stop wasting everybody time on these hearsay and unproven theories e,g, Taiwan Theory, etc.

You are hard to understand.

You were saying countries that were colonized were better off. ..... now what is all that mumble jumble.

New Viet port a clue to Kra Canal?.....and Kra Canal may bring the end to MY-Sing's miracle ??:rolleyes1:

pls note that the project (VN mega port) is backed by USA
New Viet port a clue to Kra Canal?

.
If the Kra channel goes through.. Singapore will loose it's hub status.. I'm sure they're doing the best both multilaterally and covertly to stall the project

.
Even if Kra canal is finished, no other countries in region who can providing first rate port services and first rate investment regulation in shipping industries like Singapore. Thailand with their archaic regulation and Vietnam with their so-so services can't match Singapore.

Not to mention, Singapore for decades had been chosen as the central hub for Shipping lane and central trade at South East Asia region, been backed by many Nation with powerful military and intensive lobbys from various mega corporation around the world. The tag of Israel from the East is just not for nothing
