What's new

Malala, Pakistan, and Israel

Elena Zakusilo, an Ukrainian young women, decided at her young age to leave Ukraine and go to serve in the Israeli military. On November 4th, she participated in Ukrainian TV game show, “Lie detector” The Ukrainian version of “The moment of truth”. Contestants (connected to a truth detector) answer a series of personal and embarrassing questions to receive cash prizes. During the show she reveals horrible information on her military service.

So a person on a game show - a game show that encourages people to try to beat a lie detector - is the latest source for supposed Israeli atrocities.

Her story about her supposed IDF service was peripheral to the point of the show; she was saying to her mother than she'd rather kill children than live with her, which is why she says she went to Israel as a lone soldier. She also claims she was abused both by her mother and by her schoolmates. She does not sound like a very reliable source. (On the show, she passed the lie detector test, but people who believe their own lies would pass easily.)

The IDF investigates every killing, in great detail, especially children. But Zakusilo says she has no idea how many children or adults she killed. She says she only would speak about her troubles to her superior - a general! - and he would calm her down about a dead kitten!

There have been extraordinarily few killings by women in combat in the IDF.

On the day that Arafat died, exactly one Palestinian Arab was killed during riots, and it was not a child. (Two more were killed in Gaza during a house raid.) None were killed the day after nor the day after that.

I have never heard of IDF dogs being "controlled" by remote control from ten miles away without any soldiers around, and a quick search came up empty, even though this is supposedly a 10-year old technology. I also find it highly unlikely that a woman whose specialty is training dogs would also be thrown into a live fire situation with rioters, let alone be responsible for multiple deaths.

The Israelis I asked about this say it is not even close to being plausible. Russian language social media in Israel are also extremely skeptical about these claims.

But none of that matters to the Israel-haters, who will believe anything as long as it fits their preconceived notions of evil bloodthirsty Israeli soldiers who enjoy aiming at children.

Solomon2 note: after sinking this low, what credibility remains of the Israel-haters? You know they're going to propagate another lie tomorrow so why continue to take these seriously? Why continue to fool yourself that the Israel-haters are the "good guys"? And if they're not the "good guys" why do they deserve Pakistanis' continued support?

Listen. We both can argue all we wnat about the atrocities perpetrated by Israel or the suicide bombings Palestinians did against innocent Israelis. But it will be a waste of time. I am against suicide bombing and especially against civilians. But i hate it also when Israeli soldiers kill innocent palestinians.
But what to do, we are living in a time that the world community is letting this happen.
I really admired Yitzhak Rabin. He was a courageous and bold man who really wanted peace and he was not afraid. Thats why he was killed. That was a crucial blow to the peace. Otherwise, we would have seen Palestinians and Israelis living in peace by now as friends.

@FaujHistorian what Yasser Arafat in the lap of Indians??? You Mean???

He is a RAW Agent???

OH MY GOD!!!!

:D

Yaaar. Don't start new conspiracy theories.

You are a bad man. very bad man

What do you mean by love? Loving a country is more nationalist, we in Islam don't have these nationalist feelings.

And way to portray one side, a secular side.

If you cannot love your country, then loving via Islam is just hocus-pocus.

Best wishes for the holiday season.

....
The only reason she has been cherry picked is because of her father's work with STC and BBC NEWS | South Asia | Diary of a Pakistani schoolgirl.

Yaar Rescue Bhai,

you know I respect you and admire your posts. Right?

Please note that Tali-barbarians too "cherry picked" her for the same reasons. They hated her bold stance especially when Pujnabi and Urdu Speaking people down south, did not forking dare to challege Tali-barbarians.

Who the heck she was to stand up against Islamist when political Juggernauts like Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif and Zardari behave as little purring pussy cats in front of the Islamists.

Thus her crime was to raise her tiny voice, I mean teenage girl raising voice against Mullahs. How dare she.

So Tali barbarians did the same to her as what happened to Governor Tasir.

From the Islamist barbarians POV, they left her for dead.

It was just a miracle that she survived.

And what we as a nation do?

We tell the whole world that we do not have collective balls to keep her safe in a local hospital, not even in a CMH.

There is no forking school left for her in a country of 200 forking million people, that she could go get her education from.

We begged and pleaded with UK to take her lifeless body and almost dead body because we were too afraid of our media honchos and our educated uneducated elite to create a storm against her, the victim

So she survived.

So she got some medals.

And that makes us angry?

Why?

Because we don't like outsiders pointing at our blemishes. Indians criticise the lack of sanitation in the country, but absolutely hate it when westerners point the same.

Yeah I see that.

But in case of Malala,

We ourselves got the other countries involved.

If we were so sensitive other people pointing fingers at us, we should not have sent her overseas.

There are 100s of hospitals in Pakistan who can treat trauma patients

there are 100s of all girl English medium schools that she could have gone to.

But we shipped her out

And

Pakistani government, taxpayers paid for her treatment and her education in UK.

Hope you understand.

Thank you

It's not about love the way you portray it. Please tell me what it means to love Pakistan and how that relates to Islam, or loving one another in Islam.

I am not sure I can give you all the details of how Pakistani love for Islam over Pakistan has destroyed our country.

But tell you what.

As a Palestinian, you must see how Islamists are using religion to destroy Palestinian unity and the central government.

Right now Islamists have essentially torn off Gaza from the central Palestinian government.

When Gaza government uses Islamism to oppose West bank government, then they are using abusing Islam over the Palestinian cause.

Hope you understand.

The question is what good has her action brought to the swat valley or Pakistan in large. All I see is personal gains and nothing for the cause she claims to represent.

Her book did more damage than good for Pakistan.

Does it make me angry that SHE got some medals? Does it make me angry that SHE survived? Nope, i am furious for the same reason you are. Apney izat apne chadur mey hotey hain.

So you're going to blame 'Islamism' for the division? Do you know anything about Fatah? Don't make an ignorant statement like that. Go back and study both factions more.

I know you think it's common islamists use their ideology to oppose cooperation but that's not the case for the Palestinian cause.

Yeap.

Here is a good link for you about Islamsit Ummah

Islamist Ummah concept is very similar to the concept of Santa Claus

Peace

I used to be like you, I realized most of these parties don't make good calculations or understand their roles in a society while also being blind to their own diverse populations. I used to think all of them had goals which they didn't study well.

Until I learned about the MB and i went to a place governed by Hamas. They seemed very different to me than other Islamist groups I've seen. The greatest thing that surprised was their organization. Even when they went through a war and had only been governing for two years they seemed highly organized and generally have a good overview for the future of their people.

Many Pakistanis living in America, too glorify Mullahs, MB, and Islamism in general.

It is easy that way. You have lights on, food on the table, peace everywhere

Why not have these dreams of Islamism when stomach is full and no one is threatening your life or your loved ones life.

But once you live in and Islamist hell, then the things change.

Just like some Americans used to admire Communism until they had to go live in one of the commie hells.
