Majority Pakistanis want legislation to be influenced by Islam, survey reveals

Jinnah was born to Ismaili family but he later denounced Fiqa. His autobiography notes an interview in which he was asked about Fiqa, he stated that he belongs to the same Fiqa Prophet SAW belonged to. His funeral was conducted by Maulana Shabbir Usmani, an eminent Sunni scholar of the day. Lastly the "myth" you're peddling about Jinnah eating Pork and drinking Whine was just a BS rumor created by the Deobandi school which was allied to the Indian National Congress and played a number of tricks to discredit Jinnah as the political leader of Muslims. Now the same "myth" is used by Pseudo Liberals to try & prove that Jinnah was a secular leader.

I know it's not possible. As for the reconstruction of Islamic thought by Iqbal it's worth noting that Iqbal himself was adherent of ahmadiyya (an officially declared not Islamic sect) some parts of his life. As for Jinnah: he hailed from Shia ismaili sect but was never seen observing pure Islam. He used to eat pork and drink wine while on his stay in England. Both of them are forbidden by classical Islam. So there goes his ONE Islam theory.

I suggest people to list specific sharia influenced law they need to bring and others(who oppose) to point why its bad idea.
currently nobody knows which bits of law we are talking about, the devil(or god?) lies in the details
(most muslim when asked will favour islamic influence and possibly similar response you will get from observant hindus).

.
Legislation is made by the two houses of Parliament not by the Mullahs. The fact you have no idea about the legislative process is enough to state your astounding illiteracy about the Islamic jurisprudence.
You're sadly mistaken, Sir. Not in an Islamic state they don't.

Islamic laws are endorsed by Mullahs at institutions such as the CII. Given the authority, These monsters would challenge every civilized law of our country and impose their barbaric laws, The barbarity of whom we have witnessed many times so close to us.

Iqbal denounced ahmadiyya and became an adherent of Sufi Qadriyya sect in his final years. People change religion throughout their lives. It's not a fixed entity.

A piece of crappie blog & an Ahmadiya propaganda site. Enough said.
So why isn't Zafrullah Khan being an Ahmedi not propaganda? How come he become Pakistans first foreign minister despite being anti Islamic Qadiani? Makes sense? Was Jinnah not aware of his religion when he asked him to serve in Pakistans first cabinet?

.
He never was an Ahmadi. He once "sarcastically" remarked how Mirza had Understood Islam like none other. Which was his way of saying that Mirza was deviant. Mullahs used it against him and Ahmadiyya used it for themselves. Both were wrong as in most cases Mullah orthodoxy was wrong in the case of "Shikwa".

ZAK was Ahmadiya, no one denies that.

CII has no legislative authority.

So if an Ahmedi wishes to become national minister today he would be immediately denied office because of his un Islamic faith? Jinnah should have seen what's coming.

. . . .
Ahmadis haven't voted for more than 40 years so an Ahmadiya Minister is out of the question anyway. They boycott every election.
