Brigadier Inayat Hussain hailing from Ganish town of the central Hunza district of Gilgit-Baltistan has been promoted from the rank of Brigadier to Major General in Pakistan Army. He is the son of Colonel Retired Hadi Hussain.

The promotion board was held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi which was presided over by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

He is only the second army official from Hunza to be promoted on the rank of a Major General. Major General (Rtd.) Professor Salman Ali was the first army officer from Hunza Valley to achieve this feat.

About 40 other Brigadiers were promoted to the rank of Major General during the promotion board held at GHQ, Rawalpindi.

Only organization based on merit....
IF only our civil institutes were the same.
Civilian institutes can't perform unless they are made free from clutches of politicians which may never be the case in this parliamentary democracy and interference of judiciary in administrative affairs is another issue that has paralyzed civilian institutions.

Congrats to Inayat Hussain....:smitten::pakistan:

It's okay. Not my fault your dad dragged you to or spawned you in Britain. Take it up with your dad, the your complex of having been brought up in 'masters' land where they treat you as a second class nigga.

So stop venting on me your inferiorities .....

Hey, Khafee crying to the Mods was I thought not your thing but never mind. There is nothing remotely racist about it. To make a factual statement howsoever un-appetizing is not racist.

It is a fact that in large parts of USA that particular ethnic group were and many argue continue to be treated second class. The reason I made a referance to it was because the intended recipient of my post clearly lives or has British citizenship. Thus for him to react so harshly to my post all because I stated that much of the Pakistani state is a legacy of the British led me to conclude that he has been rubbed on the wrong side while living in Britain by the indigenous British ~ thus his complex which he vented on me.

He could have of course decided to dissect and rebut what I said but he chose not to. Instead of kicking the ball began kicking me and called me a 'slave'. You of course in you magnificient display of magnanimity and fairness decide to tag half of PDF admin by crying out about what I posted entirely flinging your legs up in the air and digging your head into the mud so as to do a ostritch on what he had said.

And if your so cross about me having said something critical about the UAE all I can say is "pleaj, pleaj, pleaj" do forgive. I am just a miskeen.
