Who else can be responsible for such delays ? Its just coalition politics coupled with the natural weak spine the Congress has.

my point was that if u are a supporter separate Eelam then what's ur take on kashmir, north eastern states, khalistan movement etc etc.

I can not comment on what I am not a part of. yet let me, you know what, it was a national interest to fight against the seperatist movement, but INDIA did a better job at all these states to ensure there is development, prosperity and the voice of the people be heared. In none of the case INDIA declared the people of these states as Second Class Citizen.
But the case of SL is different, they did not only brand the tamils as second class citizens but instigated the violence against them. A former minister in SL President BandaraNayaka named Sirial Matieves wrote a book with the title "Why the Tamils should be killed" and this book was distributed free for the Sinhala population.
Do you think that INDIA does these kind of stuff

if you say that you can run the goverment better in these regards, you have to make a appeal to your constituency people to vote for your in the next election. lets see what you can do in the parliment.

and how big is this support, you have to see facts, the Kalishtan movement is voiced only by a hand full of people and their supporters in mere hundreds, the NE is geting the hightest input from the center for its development when compared to the rest of the states.
But the cause for a seperate Eelam was backed by the more than 70% of the Tamils in the SL. That is the reason that the SL Government was not able to do anything and thats the reason that LTTE became a government building ARMY, NAVY AND AIR WING that no other non governmental organization has achieved. compare Al Quida with LTTE and you'll find the difference

Imagine the Agony they must have been going through.... Next week you will be hanged.... and then again after 2 weeks you will hanged this has been going for long now. If you want to hang then why wait and give them more mental torchure.

I beleive they should be released and given another chance.... since the LTTE is no more.

sorry to say but ur argument is a great example of " what i do is right but if others do the same then they are wrong". no more arguments now, i don't want to play dirty with fellow indian esp on PDF.

My case is different man, I was brought up with the quote "The one who forgives is Human and the one who seeks forgiveness is a greater soul". so I will forgive rather than see these men hanged. They have made a mercy peal to be a living example of how life can be when violence is taken as a path.

It seems you have a big heart, but you cannot expect the same from each and every Indian especially those of the family members of victims.

I personally is all for the abolition of capital punishment and instead have the European style 400-500 yrs jail (solitary confinement) with no option for parole type of punishment. I heard in US maximum security prisons the solitary confinement prisoner's only contact with human beings is the hands of the Guard and is allowed out the cell(which has no windows) into a small opening for 2 hours daily in which the prisoner can see nothing but open sky. I think this type of punishment is much more brutal than the capital punishment which will end the suffering in one single stroke.

Tamils deserve equal rights in Lanka . To that end we all agree and we will do everything to make sure that happens but we can not support a separatist movement in a country which has not done that to India ever in the past .

Pakistan is a different case , They supported the movements in Punjab and still are supporting Kashmir , hence i believe if we are supporting the Balochis it would be the right thing to do . But Sri lanka has never done that to us in the past . In Sri lanka we should just worry about ensuring a good life for Tamils .

I think 2 out of these 3 Tamils are not even Indians , they are Sri lankans .I think Indian tamils should be more concerned for their own Tamils and other Indians .
