not impressed AZ. I wasn't pointing towards a lack of speed, asian cars just don't have the class and elegance of their german counterparts.

which is why my other car is German, older than you are and still running strong...elegant? well it has manual windows and not even power seats. I do love the lines though :)

as for indian tires to Pakistan, i'd have to see a link on it. I do know for a fact that Servis tyres exported motorcycle and bike tyres to hindustan; not sure if it still goes on. There was also a time when india sold scrap tyres in which the steel radials are removed, the rubber melted.

p.s. Lexus's new lineup is pretty much on par with its euro counterparts.....besides, look at a Lexus LFA and then look back at your silly statement. Topic is tyres though, so back on topic.

Indian tyres? lol

Ive heard of cheap kabuli tyres but never indian tyres... seems BS to be.

well this article is a testament to the fact that our domestically made tyres match int'l standards; now all they have to do is go on a marketing campaign. Perhaps start with lower cost automakers such as Suzuki and then aim higher for other Japanese brands.

in my opinion they should position themselves towards everyday driving but devote resources towards making low profile tires (for perhaps 15 and 17 inch radius) wheels --as these are the commonly used sizes for standard production vehicles of today

Have you seen the price tag of an LFA?

I'd rather take a GT2 RS over a Lexus

it's too high, i agree......for $90,000 you can get the GT-R and it will smoke the doors off most (if not all) european production cars/exotics

i'm not much of a speed nut. I focus more on the design, the GTR looks like an aborted foetus.
I'd rather take the A8 for GTR money

good for you...now let's get back on topic, plenty of car threads here to discuss and debate

Then what can one say other then hearing deficiency??????

Lack of knowledge is fatal. Just google.

MRF Tyres, Apollo Tyres, Birla Tyres, CEAT Limited, JK Tyre etc. etc. all of these are billions of dollar companies and mind it the list is not complete find out more on google baba. ;)

And Indian tyres are exported to 65+ countries.

JK Tyre to sponsor Asian racing series

Wonderful news , I was not aware we manufacture car tires in Pakistan , if so its a wonderful news

General is the worst tyre anyone can put on their ride..India makes some damn good world class quality tyres and I would like to see them floating in the market when MFN status is finally granted!
