One would do well to run with a 'Indi' car and vehicles selling/dealership/business, spares, marketing, advertising and servicing etc. business.
Technically speaking, 'Indi' vehicles, seem most reasonable value for money. Some vehicles like Mahindra Thar and Tractors or Royal Enfield motorcycles, Tata Ace, Tata Xenon, Tata and Ashok Leyland Trucks and Buses and Force Gurkha are obvious rainmakers. Bajaj and now Hero bikes are totally mass market items. All other vehicles have natural markets in Pakistan, and as I said earlier, said vehicles remain unbeatable value-for-money arbitrage.
If one wants to get parochial, Mahindra's were earlier part Pakistan origin, Tata's is obviously parsi, Royal Enfield is a no-brainer- the name says it all, and Bajaj, Hero and Force Gurkha are simply best-in-class for the price. Hell, one can even pitch the Ambassador or the Nano and make a living.
I say this re: MFN treaty between India and Pakistan in process and a certain ministerial visit
