Made in India Vehicles

I'd say one in 5 multi axle tractor-trailer lorries is a TATA Prima. By the way, I saw a bunch of Bharat Benz light trucks custom fitted with street cleaning equipment, at a dealer yard a couple of days ago (sorry, no pics).
Thanks for the reply bro! Nice sighting :D any idea where they were heading to?

I was reading about nano failure and found this interesting piece....

Kunal Bahl, a 28-year-old salesman, looked at a Nano in 2011 when he was shopping for his first car. "I didn't like the sound of the engine. It sounded like an auto-rickshaw,":omghaha: a three-wheeled vehicle common in India, Mr. Bahl said.

Is it true???????

No offense, for Pakistan to get into the auto industry now will have to be a 'national project'.

Used to be China, but there's a new kid on the block- India.
New Indian principle- Co-option, not the 'ole China Kiss of Death, or goodbye.
If you have a semi-automatic or automatic-hi-tech industry in any country, and the Indians are getting into it ... co-option is a realbiz. choice rather then the good 'ole kiss of death. Finish!

India's steel tycoons remember!

Established auto industry and the other stuff like labour, land, steel, engg. skills, consumers ... Good luck competing!
:offtopic:
Tata Nano doesn't sound like anything because the engine is at the back, but sure as hell drives like a Porsche. Rear engine drive on a lightweight car; drives like a rocket. This Punju Behl guy may not have known which end to listen. Ancient, 1-stroke Italian auto engines and Nano's German Bosch derived engine are 2 different technologies.

Man, take into account price also. It is sold at an auto rickshaw price.
