Clearly from the video in 20mins onward demonstrate a domestic make 1300HP engine which is a single piece. Russian and Ukraine engine are not single piece. Their transmission gearbox and engine are separated. People who claim this engine is copy from Russia, clearly are moron who just say for the sake of it. The engine can be upgrade to 1500HP on customer request but remained so to bring down the cost.

China have a functioning industry today, therefore, it is not surprising that Chinese engineers are able to produce engines and they need not be clones of Russian. However, everybody learns the craft from somewhere (i.e. education) or you saying that China is re-inventing the wheel each time?

China have a long history of sourcing products and technologies from Russia and US. Conversely, China is the manufacturing hub of the world with hundreds of companies installing manufacturing plants there. Entire world knows that Chinese markets are off-limits to foreign investors unless they accept the condition of "transfer of technology."
