Western media always ridicules China about so called "ghost citie" "ghost subways", they just can never comprehend how fast China builds and how far ahead China does city planning.

Ordos, a small city in Chinese Inner Mongolia, western media put this city on the map by repeatedly calling it " The biggest ghost city in the WORLD"

Americans don't quite understand the concept of public transport let alone city planning 10-15 years into the future.

No, it's just that their proirities are different since they became a superpower, and esp after the fall of the USSR. Because, back then they weren't top dog and had competition. A century or so ago, they were pioneering the same amazing things like the Chinese are doing now.

They are still using their over 100 years old subways, so one can argue that they planned their subways for at least 100 years.

Looks like a decayed coffin moving in a centuries old tomb
