I am not a Troll, nor do I ever strive to be one, so here is some serious thoughts on this thread for all my Indian friends!

Media is a strong thing, and Indian media, this is not the first example of it though, many others exist, which must all be viewed with serious concern, for the sake of peace in the subcontinent.

The Indian media has a very offensively strong and evident under current of anti Pakistan mindset.

People of all ages watch it, both words and pictures, and with material like these, strong in hatred, continuously being projected, I will not be surprised if, some years from now, every single Indian child thinks that Pakistanis are oath breaking, cheating and lying, flesh eating monsters.

They continuously flare these emotions, and ordinary folks are ordinary folks, they will be angered, and they will make their voices heard, after which the leaders are not left with much choice, all this leads to WAR!!!!!

Can we for God's sake, not do without WAR, in the subcontinent!!

I implore all Indians, to ponder over this, in earnest sincerity!!

I agree with you... at times, our media carries report that has no solid source or evidence... they bake their own stories and feed it to people... (they should at least carry a disclaimer "work of fiction")...
I believe these reports are being carried out for their own concern (TRP)... when 26/11 happened all channels gave live feeds... which even handlers of terrorists watched and gave further instructions to them as per live coverage, finally on third day GoI requested Media houses to not cover 26/11

I remember when India lost to Srilanka in 1996 semi final lot of people in Pakistan said that Srilanka has taken the revenge of Pakistan. C’mon man! Get a life; Srilanka played for themselves why would they play for us?

It’s a part of sub-continent culture but I haven’t seen Pakistani media using such bad words for India even for the righteous reasons.

IF there is a realization in the Indian public that their Media is misleading, they must take action. Even the incident of 26/11 was over blown, misrepresented and hacked by Indian Media. I am sure average Indian is not out of mind that he will buy these things but even if you dont buy it as a whole, media has its effect on the messes.

Even against China, Indian media put the reporting in 4th gear and proved war-mongers yet another time. If the wrenches of media are not pulled, it can lead the Indian Nation into series complications some day.

We cannot be happy because we lost. Our National Importance comes from the Success of Pakistan instead of defeat of India. The match against India was the most interesting of all the 3 matches we have played and any future opportunity to play against them must have proved equally entertaining and blood warming. It must have been more entertaining and reason to be proud of our country if could beat India yet another time in the finals.

I dont know why pakistani friends getting so unsettled about this particular clip.I mean the whole episode rightly criticizes indian team indirectly for depending on a now unmaterialized pakistani victory over Australia to secure it position in the semi finals.Obviously indian people arent happy with their team for loosing its matches and its media is just reflecting that fact.


Let's understand the context on which the above clip is based on...its apparantly based on jovial comments made by indian skipper, how only a pakistan win can help and how disinterested indian fans need to cheer for pakstan and aslo talks about a comment by Afridi that they wouldnt disappoint their indian fans,made in a similar vain.

So its very important to understand the context behind,to prevent misunderstanding clearly shown in blogs right here.


Now coming to the complain that indian media is hostile and amateurish in its reports dealing with pakistan...then let me say,it goes with the current flavour of the day.There are atleast five threads created to celebrate on indian loss in champian trophy on this forum .

Besde that,what indian tv media shows in its exclusve reports are never too far from the truth.They only add "computer graphic " to serious analysis that appear in the print media causing cringe among some non commital viewers across the border.Ofcourse they lace it with unnecessary mirch masala to draw attetion and try hard to appeal to the lowest common denominator.But its a malaise...more a cumpulsion of private news media worldwide try to garner as much eyeballs as possile to survive as commercial ventures at the end of the day.

To get a better a picture,take for example the worst sensional eposidode so aptly name "dus kadam aur pakistan khatam " broadcasted on India Tv during those very tense day after 26/11 when a war clouds were looming large over the horizon and nevertheless made so many pakistna viewer cringe in disbelief.

Its was about dus kadam/Ten steps that indian military would take to capitulate pakistan.Now those were based none other than the highly valued indian strategic "COLD START" policy.Its so serious stuff,they even do study on this "COLD START" policy at pakistan's defence university.But when the same thing was shown with compuer graphics laced in rhetorical verbatim by India Tv,pakistani friend start accusing indian media for its amateurish style. I think both its naive and ironical at the same time.

U have all the right to give use excuses, why are u so much obsessed, we are just laughing at them, ap ne to dil par le lia, No problem India team deserved it, See we tried our best to get you people through, At least Indians must appreciate that.....
as for Cold start, Mr Genius Defense analyst form Indian Defence Review ,U think that Pakistanis are the Dumb heads & we don't know anything about your Bloody Cold start, have a Cold start we are going to give a 'Hot Start'
