The big question is not whether India will have the CATOBAR carrier. It is whether India can sustain a large carrier fleet even with help from US or Europe.

We shall have LRSAM deployed very soon which can take care of any of incoming missile. So far as defensive and offensive power of our ship is concern, There is absolutely no comparison china. We are far ahead and you guys are nowhere in picture. Let me give the reference of that famous article of US think tank.

First of I cannot understand your intention to troll on this thread and bolstering your chinese achievement.

Second why should look at Chinese ways to achieve what chinese thinks of their ultimate goal. India is also a big country like China but with different conditions, peoples thinking, and requirement. On topic, india is looking forward to its third aircraft carrier, which might be a nuclear one, and if the EMAL deal suceeded, it would help india in its defence requirement.

You have your Chinese carriers, with ski jump or catapull or not or J-15, or Russian carrier bassed fighter thats your requirement, because we are not facing the pressure from the combined power of japanese and US led Nato in our far east, nor we have any disputes of the island whether artificial or natural with the vietnam, japan, russia, taiwan, Phillipens nor we have any plan to invade China.

We have our indian ocean to monitor and protect our country from enemies, and check some of the big enemies who are helping some countries, who have long dream of hurting us.

In 21century, the supersonice anti-ship missile not some secret weapon ... many nations can build it like U.S, Russia, China, Britain, France, Norway, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India etc ... if u don't know google, or just google China YJ-12 and YJ-18 supersonice missile for PLAN. I don't wanna waste time on a supersonic missile, coz it isn't a super-weapon for China especially U.S, Russia, China built their 1st one in 1970s~1980s.

2. Okay, Indian Navy has 2x P-15 DDGs and might to deploy 'Made in Israel' Barak-8 LRSAM (sorry not see photo yet) ... ... the China side, PLAN already has 6x 052C DDGs with 48x HQ-9 LRSAM, and 4x 052D DDGs with 64x HQ-9 LRSAM (or others). U r far ahead, i like ur logic !

Dear do you know there are so many things in this world, things mostly Manufactured are cheaper from china but Natural Things in India are cheaper. All service here is also cheap, we Indians don't do home decoration them self where as you do mostly yourself.
