Longest flight you ever had?

The longest flight I took was supposed to be 12 hours but ended up for about 70 hours after we were stranded for 2 days in India

Original flight was London to Lahore via Bahrain but ended up London to Bahrain, delays, Bahrain to Delhi, Delays, Delhi to Lahore

I prefer Aisle seat as its easy to go around the plane if needed. Not a huge fan of window seats although I loved to see Dubai from the plane as it looked really beautiful

Not true. Have met many Argentinian and Chileans in other countries, warm hearted people.

Italians actually as well.

You are an exception, :D

I´m warm hearted. Never judge a person you never meet before amigo. You do me injustice by labelling with me without ever meeting me.

Why would i date an arab girl if i would be racist?

I hope they compensated you for that. 70h delay is crazy

Going by your posts, you do sound like a Mussolini fanboy. But on the other hand, people in Cyberspace do all sort of things which sometimes they don't mean.

You are right, may be you are nice person in real life. I wouldn't know unless I have met you.

Nops... thanks to modi sarkar... we were not allowed to get off the plane and considered like terorrists..... later after argument by the pilot that even he will not leave the plane if passengers are not allowed to enter departures lounge... later permission was granted after 10 hours or so we were escorted to Departures lounge like VIPs or Terrorists depending on the definition (one by one, counting again n again) and we were asked to stay inside departures lounge but changing the plane was not allowed. In another words... repair your plane and get back to Lahore which took about 36 hours and we had no option but to wait until the plane was fixed

I´m member of the right wing party FI and i do have a conservative worldview. I stand for my nation and i´m very patriotic. Nothing bad about that. On the other side i have no problem to have foreigners as friends, travel abroad or date girls who are not italian. Its always a point of perspective amigo. Some here dont like me because i openly say what ithink and dont fall for political correctness. THat doesnt mean i want kill others or reinstall Mussolini.

Hope you understand.

What about the international rights for Airlines and passengers when stranded on airports because of circumstances?

What about the international rights for Airlines and passengers when stranded on airports because of circumstances?
They said... if there was any flight in the world... the international law says passengers must be provided hotel accomodation either inside the airport or outside.... but since some of the passengers are Pakistani (flight departed from Bahrain) so no rules will be followed... there was an army for say 10 army personal for 1 passenger... the entire airport staff was called... and airport staff wearing uniforms of various airlines were all called to keep an eye or help us... upon asking they said strict orders are that we are also not leaving the airport until the flight was departured.... so if a regular staff is 500.... there were 2500 people called including those working in njght shift and those who had day off... it was a crazy day of life

Its important for me to get up without disturbing others. But being to close to toilets isnt that nice either?
No they don't disturb. They are quite at distance from first row seats in 787-9 and doors open in gallery.
Still if you don't want to sit there then seat on gallery side would be a bit more comfortable than in middle or with window. There you can stretch a bit, but then you have to give way to passing passenger from middle and window side.

One more thing if you like you can try, I make myself really tired before long flights, so that I can sleep maximum duration during flight.

Hi,

LAX to Dubai & Lahore On Emirates airlines---took between 23---26 hours at different times---including stop over at Dubai..

Aisle seat in last row on 4 trips---the only bad part was by the time I got served---only vegetarian dishes left---was not happy about it---.

Food is not the best on Emirates airlines.

Flew from LAX to Heathrow and return on Air New Zealand----excellent dinner.

Last row aisle seat is the best on A380.

Islamabad to Washington Dulles Airport, Qatar Airlines.

The Doha to IAD leg of the flight was delayed for 5 hours.

Once the flight came and we were in the air, some aunti in the row behind felt the necessity to place her feet into the space of the armrests, window to middle seat, in the row in front. The 3 seat row I sat in, window, with another man, isle.

It was a long 13 hours of smelly feet. The consequences of being an .

Washington Dulles Airport.

I don't know why, but I've always hated Dulles International Airport.

Maybe because it's super busy being so close to D.C.. I much prefer Richmond International Airport.

Curiously, I've flown international to Reagan National Airport, which doesn't service international commercial traffic.

You hate the traffic that's why, frankly everyone does. 495 is a hmmmm...

But depends what times. Leaving or Arriving at IAD, anytime from 4-10 am and 3-7pm is a pain. Plan around those times.

But considering your Norwegian and the architect was Finnish-American..
