Longest flight you ever had?

Can't say I know what you two are on about.

Some sort of encrypted pun?

No, I asked about you and the foreign service, @RAMPAGE wanted to know what I was blethering about, I showed him your original remark and suggested why you would do well in it, he also saw your rejoinder and was hugely impressed, and I decided to monetise all this admiration floating around.

You can name your franchise fee.

Lol, I had bad experience in Air Arabia. Worst service. I didn't know even you must pay for meals. Payment was not issue but atleast they should tell before. It was just 5 hour flight, but it took 8 hours. I had bad experience in Ras ul khaimah too , flight delayed & stay delayed too. Air arabia sucks..... Not going again for cheap flight.

Go easy on the mozzarella and whiskey, won't you?

Mozzarella and whisky? What an odd combination! I would have whisky only with some strong salty gritty cheese, perhaps a Danish Blue? With mozzarella, first, I wouldn't much like having that as a cheese, but on a pizza, it would go well with Chianti Classico. Or any other cheerful red.

Kay Khushi say mar naa jaatey, gar aitbaar hota ...

Ok, done. You leave the flattery part for me though, ;)

It was pizzas I was referring to. Saw you drooling on the other thread. Reminded me of a friend's uncle for whom we'd pick up special paans every evening. :P

Original flight was London to Lahore via Bahrain but ended up London to Bahrain, delays, Bahrain to Delhi, Delays, Delhi to Lahore

I dont understand why a flight from Bahrain to Lahore had to travel over the Indian Airspace? that is not the direct route. however due to winds it took a longer route and had to land at the nearest airport - Delhi

Nops... thanks to modi sarkar... we were not allowed to get off the plane and considered like terorrists..... later after argument by the pilot that even he will not leave the plane if passengers are not allowed to enter departures lounge... later permission was granted after 10 hours or so we were escorted to Departures lounge like VIPs or Terrorists depending on the definition (one by one, counting again n again) and we were asked to stay inside departures lounge but changing the plane was not allowed. In another words... repair your plane and get back to Lahore which took about 36 hours and we had no option but to wait until the plane was fixed

Understanding the security situation between our 2 countries it was an understandable precaution. you know very well that Pakistani visitors are screened extra carefully. Even their regular visa processing is a 2 step verification process - Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home. So giving emergency transit visa to a plane full of Pakistanis without any background checks and verification will be extremely difficult.
