^ I said we could have won. 2 goals early in the game could have put Spain under pressure. Anyways considering how badly Pak has performed in the past few years against European teams at least we got a point.

Anyone heard of the controversy about that Female Chinese Swimmer who swam faster than Ryan Lotche.

There are saying she was doping.

Anyone heard of the controversy about that Female Chinese Swimmer who swam faster than Ryan Lotche.

There are saying she was doping.

People ARE saying that in the West.

But EVERY medal winner in the Olympics gets drug tested. And doping is not the kind of thing that disappears from your body after a few months, it lasts in the body for many many years. If there was doping involved it will be caught eventually.

They are just sore because a 16-year old Chinese girl could swim faster in the last half of her event then the fastest of their men.

Ye Shiwen has her entire athletic career ahead of her, and she's going to improve even further in the years to come.

Congrats to China. A very commendable position to be above the US

And congrats to pakistan as well for playing a great game against Spain.

Anyone know where I can watch the live boxing match of Devendro Singh and Manoj Kumar? I have Time Warner Cable.. its crap.

Congratulations to CHina for retaining the top position in medals tally.

It takes huge efforts to consistently perform in in various sports.

Laishram Devendro Singh moves to next round in 49 kg boxing. Surprising fact he knocked out the opponent which is very uncommon in lower weight category in amateur boxing....

However , I have seen him earlier...he is very aggressive and use both hands like paws of a cat... But, he needs to be calculative, otherwise experienced boxers can take benefit of his over aggressiveness. China is ruling this 49 kg category since 2008, hope he will not face the Chinese boxer before semi-final.

Don't hold your breath. Track and field events are coming up, in which the USA dominates.

Last night my wife asked, " Is there any game in Olympic which China doesnt play?"
I said, " The proper question is, is there any game in Olympic that China doesnt play well."

Tarundeep Rai moved to next round in Archery defeating Cuban opponent in shoot out. The Cuban was ahead 5-1 after three set but Tarun made it 5-5 winning next to rounds. Hope this thrilling win give hime added confidence.

Phelps gets Silver in Men 200 Butterfly.

He was in the lead till the very last seconds. I think what happened was that Phelps was at the lowest speed and had reached his peak speed earlier, and tried to touch the finish pad with his last stroke/push rather than doing another stroke and getting some speed, while the South African swimmer had reached his peak speed just at the right time, in the final seconds, and his last stroke won him.

Credit to the SA swimmer though. Good contest.
