Phelps gets Silver in Men 200 Butterfly.

He was in the lead till the very last seconds. I think what happened was that Phelps was at the lowest speed and had reached his peak speed earlier, and tried to touch the finish pad with his last stroke/push rather than doing another stroke and getting some speed, while the South African swimmer had reached his peak speed just at the right time, in the final seconds, and his last stroke won him.

Credit to the SA swimmer though. Good contest.

Was not about the speed. Phelps should have taken another stroke but he decided to glide and this mistake allowed Le Clos to touch earlier.

Another Controversy - Korea vs Germany in FENCING in the double-standard London Olympics 2012.

Korean girl was hard done when the time was up, but the 1 second to stop the timer by time keeper was made too long that the German European fencer got chance to strike. It seemed 1 second = 5 second and Korean coach was protesting that time is up yet the referees never ended the game giving chance to German fencer. It was clear cheat by Europeans again and yet the Fencing Association after 45 minutes of heated discussion awarded the fencing match to German fencer. British and Europeans are evil cheaters!!!!.

The Korean girl was left crying on the stage! She was unfairly treated by referees and senior fencing association!!!

I dont know how there can be 3 encounters in one second. The officials there made a mess of the situation. German girl should not have won

USA is blowing everyone out of the water in swimming and gymnastics. Phelps become the first athlete to have 19 medals, most of which are gold. 17 year old Missy Franklin got her first gold in 200m swim. Then another girl Schimmit something won gold too.

Then in girls gymnastic USA was so far ahead the rest of the competition, Russia and Romania seemed totally incompetent. When that American girl Mckella Maroni did her near perfect vault I was awestruck how high she went in the air. Truly amazing.
