Local Turkish Dialects

Correct, alongside "inşaat" (tikinti is more commonly used).

"Tikili" can also mean any type of building.
Insaat is probably brought to Azerbaijan by Turkish construction workers or was is used before?

.
It should have existed in lexicon, but it's rarely used. I have never heard someone say "bir şeyi inşaa etmək", rather "bir şeyi tikmək". But it's occasionally used in written language.

In street language, "inşaa etmek" is also sounds weird and formal, yapmak and dikmek verbs are more common.

We use bina and tikinti (from "tikmek" verb). Dam means "roof" as Targon said.
Tikinti means also construction right?
:what: ! well tikmek means Sewing

@asena_great

It has two different meaning.

@telkon

Is salmak means building, constructing ? or is it spesific to building a house ?

Btw dam in Azeri and Turkish just had a slight meaning shift, otherwise in sentence usage it can still give a meaning close to house.

salmak means to put, to place, to send. in "tam salmak" context it means "to place pieces to erect building"

.
We use çanak for some bowl kinds, is it even the same word ? meaning is so different.

What do you guys mean with heater ?

@telkon

Oh the same verb as the Turkish salmak, except we wouldn't use it for constructing :D
