there is a shia community living here, near my society and there are still posters of suleymani.i see it myself.i think we have destroyed our country.all sects specially arab and iran, both using pakistan to recruit youth.this is terrible.are we a country who always fights others war or do we love our country?there are serious questions and these groups should show their patriotism to pakistan otherwise close all madrassa and stop this drama.we don't need people who sacrifice their lives for saudia and iran.who will save pakistan in case of war? we should expel everyone who has sympathy for both arabs and iran.i mean look at the number of madrassa and shia organizations.this is not pakistan.it looks like a country where you pay someone to hire them to fight wars.this is disrespectful.
@Imad.Khan you can check nationality of many people on natsecjeff account on twitter.he even provides pictures and most of the people are pakistani who died in iraq, fighting for iran.
I blame Musharraf for this. He attacked religious institutions directly and forced some dangerous groups to go underground. I still hear of radical groups fulfilling their hidden agendas of brainwashing youth in Punjabi cities. Rana Sanaullah (N) is a big supporter of LeJ for example. Why are the police and government incapable of controlling them?
Instead of ostracizing religious institutions and demonizing them, Pakistan should co-opt them. Every single religious organization or building (Sunni, Shia, Wahabbi, Ismaili, Ahmadiyya, etc.) must be thoroughly investigated, its leadership known, and all activities as well.
Most of all the curse of sectarianism or hate preaching should be stopped.
Unfortunately, our Shia Pakistanis are the main victim of this hate preach. It is unacceptable and creates unwanted divisions in our society. it drives Pakistanis to find solace in someone else, and Iran is readily waiting to receive disaffected youth with open arms.
The problem lies primarily with us, we should be strong enough that our youth don't feel like they need to go to Iran and join Liwa Zanabiyoun to gain some pride in themselves and for their faith.
Most of all we need leaders (religious or otherwise) who will unite Pakistanis, rather than divide them. A national consensus plan must be developed, all sects must sit together with the government, and decide what we as Pakistanis want to do for our people.
We cannot be at each others throats every time there is a civil war or some conflict overseas, we need to stand together as Pakistanis. Sectarianism will only increase in the ME due to KSA, UAE, Iranian polices and the fragile conditions of Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Saying that, there is no reason this Qasem Sulemani who threatened Pakistan directly in connivance with India needs to have his posters around Pakistan. He was an avowed enemy of our country.
