Imran again challenges Nawaz to debate
PakistanTehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has once again challenged his political foe Nawaz Sharif for a live TV debate ahead of elections and boasting his cricket credentials by saying that he will bowl the PML-N leader on the very first ball.
Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) has already rejected Imran’s challenge saying that he was throwing the challenge just to get cheap publicity.
Addressing an election rally in Pakpattan on Thursday, Imran Khan alleged that Sharifs were hand in gloves with President Asif Zardari.
“I know why Nawaz Sharif is in a state of fear to face me on a live TV debate. He knows I will strike his stumps on the very first ball,” Imran said amid huge cheers from his party supporters.
He also claimed that excessive load shedding in Punjab was due to the mismanagement of Shahbaz Sharif’s government and not that of center.
Imran also alleged that PML (N) government in Punjab has failed to streamline the health and education system of the province.
PTI is engaged in bitter politicking with PML-N in recent days.
PML-N leaders are accusing Imran Khan of making false promises and running away from contesting one on one with Nawaz Sharif in Lahore’s NA-120 constituency.
Analysts believe that the two parties are trying to woo voters in Punjab by ridiculing each other in a bid to secure maximum seats as the province has 148 constituencies of National Assembly out of the total of 272, and the party who gains maximum seat in Punjab has a greater chance of making the government in center after May 11 elections.

I only wish our leaders had the courage to face each other in TV debates. They consider themselves too import and avoid risking popularity if they couldnt' answer to the question raised by the opposition.
Nawaz Sharif is a dullard. He couldn't debate Imran Khan if his life depended on it. The reason he doesn't want a live TV debate is because he doesn't have that natural leadership quality to speak and answer on the stop. He fears he will slip up and people would figure - not that people already haven't.
Imran should challenge him a third time just for the sake of humiliation.

I've been following IK & PTI's election/other campaigns for a long time.... and have observed that it seems PTI is only interested in targeting PML-N, bcoz they know hardcore anti PML-N will only vote for them if they target PML-N & its Big Guns... Why isnt IK challenging PPPP leaders for a live debate??? who ruled Pak for last 5 years... IK should divert his attention to Zardari as well, if he wants to bag hardcore anti PPPP votes, ive yet to listen to his speechz where he have criticized Zardari with the same passion & phenom he uses against Shrif bro'..

Actually IK's strong hold is in Punjab & KPK and vice versa ... So they are naturally opponents of each other ... Whereas PPP's strong hold is Sindh ... They couldn't compete to them ... nor they would be welcome over there ... So why will IK waste his time after PPP .......
