I agree with this post. We should not have released Abhinandan. We should have imprisoned the war criminal. It would have put Modi under huge pressure and he would have done something crazy.

some time the most Peaceful signals could prove to be the most aggressive signals just for sake of example what would you consider If I suggest

- To initiate countrywide civil defence and emergency services registration and training of volunteers this will be a 100% PACIFIST move

same like this IF

- A simple instruction to Government institutions and and district and provincial governments to test Business Continuity Plan and Contingency Plans ....

- A simple order to Oil companies to replenish and maintain their oil reserve stocks ....

- Instructions to Pharma companies to maintain a sizeable stocks of emergency medicines

- An order to National Disaster Management Authority to maintain and increase in stocks of Tents and identification of emergency shelters and their preparation in short notice .....

All are peaceful moves which can be linked to internal situation as well but how India and People in IOK would perceive these signal .... ???

How the world would take these signals ....

@HRK sir i totally agree. But are we at that position to go through all these step write now at this particular point of time. With Pak-Ind situation aren't we always at war? don't want to disrespect anyone or hurt anyone feeling but are we that sure that their is going to be a full fledged nuclear war? I think situation will remain tense at the border and nothing more. What i think we really need is to create issues on international fund about khalistan and Kashmir and fund their movement. Modi with all his wisdom wont be stupid enough to wage a war with home grown tension. U don't put petrol on fire, u let the wind do its work. That what i think is in the best interest of Pakistan. Patience is all that we need.

I also hate this word "Sir", the first cultural shock that I got in Germany was when my professors in the German university "objected" on being called "Sir", they just didn't like this word probably because Germans are people of "equality" unlike British who are people of "class" and the words like "Sir" signify a class system.

Interesting. Here we don't call teachers by name until college. Primary and secondary school we called male teachers Sir and female teachers Miss. Once you get into college onwards you start calling them by their names.

We never call anyone outside school everyday life Sir, but i find people from Pakistan sometimes call everyday people Sir. Alot I see on this site.

College and Uni lecturers we call by first name. No sir business. I remember when i started college and some people were still used to saying Miss or Sir and lecturers would ask to be called by their name as were not kids anymore.

at one hand you yourself have written it which is an obvious thing but on the other hand people in government seem not even bother to take situation serious there are many thing which are not exclusively related to war and would be helpful in day to day routine as well .... doing and highlighting these in current situation would not only give confidence to Nation but pass particular message to International community as well

Nor I want any disrespect to anyone, all I want are some concrete actions on grounds as well. No one is against the diplomatic efforts but these are not the only approach which is needed just because of this we can not ignore the other aspects of this issue

What I feel that generally people have failed to realise whatever Conventional Deterrence in terms of Military Power, Diplomacy and International Politics both of our countries previously had have Failed.

After 26 Feb, 2019, situation is more critical and Nuclear War is a more real possibility in current situation than ever in past, I may appear a warmonger but in reality what I am advocating is to establish new Deterrence before its too late .... and for this We have to do much more than just some Addresses to Nation and some speeches in Parliament or in public gathering ..... this attitude of our is making War more Possible

Looking for peaceful solution is not begging. but if we look at our history war and chaos is only good for arm industry but in the end solutions are always in dialogue. There is a time for dialogue and their is a time for war. I dont think this is time for war.
You might be thinking i am running away from war but tbh i am not. I am just assessing the situation and it doesnt look like we are heading their right now at this moment.
